Best professor at SMU! He lets you make a cheat sheet for the midterm and final. He provides you with practice questions. He is very helpful when needed. He is funny and keeps your attention during class! He knows whats going on in the world and keeps his course updated! Overall a great professor!

pendse is awesome. you get a cheat sheet for the final & midterm, kinda of a hard marker though, but not brutal. you can also get 10% bonus marks on top of grade, if you do what he asks. really nice and very understanding. min work done in this class. you go to his office and make him know you, youre on his good side. very random and funny.

This course would have been fine if you actually knew what you were learning. He didn't follow any of the marking scheme, he may give you all the short answers but unless you interpret them the way he interprets it, good luck passing. I'm an A student and this course and this teacher destroyed my grade.

Easy class and understanding Prof. I had other commitments by the time I took this class (already working) and while I was not given special treatment in grade he acknowledged I had good reasons to not pay full attention. Profs that know the world moves outside the classroom are too few. Solid.

Prof Pendse is one of my best profs I ever had at SMU. I took strategic management with him in Sep2011 and I was glad to be one of his students. He is a very knowledgeable person and he care very much about his students. I really recommend anyone to take his class and I'm sure you will not regret it.

Horrible professor. Didn't mark based on the syllabus, messed up my final mark calculation and wouldn't fix it after repeated contacts. Didn't give a fair mark on the term presentation. Charges you $1 to come late or to even use the washroom. Has no idea what "sustainability" is either. I sincerely regret taking this (mandatory) class with him.

I absolutely loved strategic mgmt, it's a great course. He does his best to teach it & I heard he's the best of the bunch. But, don't be surprized if you think you aced a test, only to find out that you bombed it. He lets you select your own groups, something he calls "the dating game". Don't worry about your mark, just go & have fun.

I am a hardworking student and still received a bad mark.You think it will be easy when he gives you 18 questions to take home and then 5 will be on the midterm... everyone should get in the 90s but the average is 60's. He is HORRIBLE. He also does not justify marking scheme and will not let you give your group members 10/10 on peer evaluation...

1. He lets you bring cheat sheets to the exams 2. He gives you 10% bonus questions on the final exam TOWARDS YOUR FINAL MARK, not your exam mark, YOUR FINAL MARK 3. His exams aren't really that difficult. Obvious questions and he wants short, precise answers...If you fail this class or get less than a B+ you should quit school. Boring but easy.
