She's a really nice person, but not that great of a professor. She explains the material in lamest terms, and then tests you in 'hardest terms.' You could memorize the book and never attend class and get a solid B. EVERYTHING on the tests are from the book. She isn't very clear in class, she'll give many examples but never fully explain any ofthem.

Overall I found her to be condescending. Her quizzes were often based more on the textbook than the lectures. Made an effort to keep people engaged, but was not a good or clear teacher overall.

Very interesting and diverse course covering a wide range of material, she does well to get through it all. Inevitably you're interested more in some topics than others but the format of the final exam was very conducive to you having personal strengths.

She is a great prof. You need to attend class to do well on tests. She has a tendency to ask questions on tests that pertain to examples of videos seen in class. These are worth substantial points, and are easy for students who attend class regularly. Tests and Exams are fair. Read textbook!

Do NOT go to class, there is no need. Sleep in. Enjoy a long breakfast at Wheelock. Go for a walk to Hennigers and get some ice cream instead. Reading the textbook in bed taught me this course.

She seemed like an ok prof for the two classes I actually went to. There is no need to go to any classes. Just go to the discussion group and read the textbook and this course will be a breeze.

Her class is useless. I feel like i'm in a self-help seminar. Plus she comes off as one of those power hungry bit*hs. I'm strangely aroused by this.

It's true. You do not need to go to class to get a good mark in this course. Your exams are mutiple choice and all of the answers lie in the textbook. Just read it over a few times and you will sail right through the exam!

"Dr." Symons is a obsessed with herself. Don't bother asking her for help. She spent the first weeks of the class trying to prove that pschology is a science, without success. I'll take psyc to boost my mark, it is just a joke.

What point is there to having an actual professor there anyway? Get the notes off the net and read the textbook the night before the exams... this method got me an A- with little effort and never attending class.
