Took PHY 136 in fall 2010, drop her as soon as you see her. old lady, horrible teaching skills, wont retire and school cant get rid of her b/c of tenure. i think maybe 3 out of 28 people in my class passed her. doesnt follow the book, tests are impossible. took the class agin in summer 2011 with a different prof. and earned an A,expect a F with her

HORRIBLE old lady, never hated going to school until i took her class.She talks extremely low, doesnt give extra credit and expects you to memorize a million formulas. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT take any classes with this woman.

A horrible, disgusting teacher at best. This **** just needs to retire already!! She's tenured so that's why she's still teaching at Farmingdale. She's one of the worst college professors in Long Island, avoid at all costs or you will fail the class guaranteed. She ought to be fired!

One of the worst teachers I have ever had. She writes in small script on the board, she speaks very low so it's hard to hear in the front row, and she does not clearly explain problems in class. Do not make the mistake I did, drop her once you see her on your schedule.

Do not EVER take her because she is there to teach a failing class. The tests are impossible b/c they are far more complex than in class examples. Breaks promises, such as no formula sheet. She is really mean, deaf and old. She is tenured and there is nothing that can be done except wait for her to turn to dust. DONT TAKE HER CLASS

One of the worst teachers at the school. She obviously hates Prof. Nolan (the guy who wrote the text book) and deliberately teaches her own methods, so when test time comes and you pull out the text, expect to fail. Everyone except for maybe 3 people had below a 50 average. Transfer out ASAP.

this lady has consistent negative ratings for a reason. Does not answer students questions just yells how ridiculous it is.. Makes you memorize the formula for every test which are hard and does not grade easy..but on the final you get a formula sheet. doesnt make sense she wants to see you struggle. Can not hear for anything. handwriting is small

Please spare yourselves-DO NOT TAKE ANY CLASS this woman teaches. She looks like a sweet old lady(and maybe she is outside of class)but as a teacher she is horrible. A joke really. She's an EVIL old woman. She WANTS to fail people! We were incredibly lucky that she didn't make up the final. Notes are decent, tests are a bit unfair but whatever. I would not in a million years want to take her class again. I would not be surprised if her collegues hated her. EVIL!
