First let me say that I have utmost respect for Dr. Spates; he is an incredibly intelligent man. If he repeats himself, take note, it will likely be on the exam. The grading is easy but you must read the chapters in order to pass. It is a great class if you're likely to pursue a career in clinical psychology, it will help you pinpoint your interest

I took this class only because it fulfilled a requirement. I got lost, but somehow managed an A (with help from a study group). He'a a pleasant and charming man. I might audit another class from him based on his reputation in his field (as a clinical psychologist). Teaching isn't his forte; however, he is an interesting lecturer. Beautiful smile!

this class has weekly assignments from the readings, and tests based off of questions from the book. the professor is a personable and friendly man, but his class is a little boring; sometimes he will play videos for the whole 3 hours. as long as you do the work and come to class, it should be fairly easy to get the grade you want.

By far, one of the best professors I've ever had. He's inspirational and very helpful. He can get a bit off track with his lectures at times, but his teaching methods are clear and very direct. It's the first time I've read my entire textbook word-for-word, and I'm ready to go into Clinical work now, thanks to him.
