I could not keep up with this guy, it was a 6-9 and he taught so fast I could barely get notes and ask questions at the same time. Extrememly smart man, very nice too. There's some case studies, 4 test (which are hard!), quizzes, and mini cases. He was really good about dropping low scores and replaced the lowest test grade w/ other test grade

Comment:

One of the best professors I've had at GVSU. Material can be difficult to grasp, but presentations are very clear and helpful. Does a good job of relating material to real life. I would recommend over an other finance professors.

Pretty good prof. Tests are not multiple choice, but instead are conceptual question tests. He is a fair grader and takes no favorites. Overall good prof take him if you can you will learn alot.

Can be a difficult subject, with lots of equations but you don't have to memorize, gives you needed equations for tests. He is VERY helpful if you go to his office hours. 12 quizzes drops two lowest. and a few projects using Excel. Just took his first exam and it wasn't bad, but I studied alot. Nice guy though!

Made a potentially difficult class VERY clear and understandable. He wants his students to do well. He drops the lowest 2 quiz grades (out of 12) and averages your exam grades as a replacement for your lowerst. Writes everything on the board, so he is very understandable. Great class. VERY easy if you go to class.

This class was much easier than I expected. If you come to class and listen you will get at least a 90 on the exams. Questions are not tricky the least bit. He is extremely helpful at office hours and will explain things as many times as necessary. I would definently recommend him.

The class was very fast paced but he did what he could to make sure we understood what he was teaching. He was always ready to answer any questions we had. Tests were a bit on the hard side but if you take good notes and read the chapters you should be fine. Great prof, take him if you can!

Sundaram is one of a handful of awesome finance profs at GVSU. This is my second class with him, and he delivers. He knows his stuff and wants you to understand it too. Tests are fair and balanced, like Fox news. :-) TAKE HIM IF YOU CAN!
