I graduated some years ago in the 2004-2008 time-frame and I can say with complete confidence that the folks who give the worst reviews are the ones who never got cast and refused to take that as a hint that it was time to pick another major.

Best Theatre teacher I had. Other comments are sour grapes because he didn't cast them in plays. Expects a lot from students, but gives a lot in return.

Even without the moustache, Stan Denman is a mighty man. He carries a lot on those freakishly large shoulders. I loved having him as a professor. Thank GOD he is running the ship in theatre.

Good, good, good professor of acting and directing. Blunt as hell? Yes! Hard on us especially in acting? Yes. But he taught me so much about myself, art, theatre, life. I may have griped when I didn't like something now and then, but now that I just graduated I am most gratefful for him. Highly recommended to all future theatre majors.

This man made my fellow classmates and my life as well living hell. Not only does he play favorites but he will repeatedly tear people down to make himself look "better" Thank God i left that hell hole of a school and made a name for myself without his help. Thanks Stan! You still suck.

Stan loves to play dad to his students, but watch out. He's paranoid, suspicious, vindictive, and very childish if you get on his bad side (which you can do very easily--his paranoia leads him to jump to conclusions). He has created an atmosphere of tension and distrust. He takes far too great an i

Stan is one of the finest teachers that I have ever worked with. In addition to his incredible scope of vision as an artist, he is one of the most genuinely caring people that I have aver known. His care for all his students and the department is evident in everything that he does.

Stan can't objectively evaluate anything. If you want to stick it out as an actor here you haveto make yourself invaluable to him.Either get so popular in the dept. that he has to play nice or work inthe office&work your butt off.or buck the system&risk it

Stan's just incredibly self absorbed &that makes it hard for students to deal w/him because he has to pick his favorites in order to create a"clique" if you will that he can be a part of &be popular within,& if your not picked;wellgood luck, you'
