HE IS THE WORST CHOIR TEACHER EVER! HE is an arrogant jerk who doesn't care about anything besides his crappy choice in music. Take concert band before his crappy choir, all around worst class I've taken.

Two things: he knows his materials very well but his teaching style is very convoluted and is completely unwilling to take charge of a classroom. For a the school's best college choir singers, who are generally interested in singing, to completely walk all over him on daily basis is not good. If you're willing to listen, you will get some good tips

I found Dr. Wold to be very helpful to those who he liked. If you did not meet up to his standards, he treated you like you were not worth his time. He was very arrogant and carried around a sense of entitlement. Most students would kiss up to Dr. Wold and think he was so great. Please. Afterall, he is teaching in Duluth, MN...not in NY.

I like Dr. Wold's conducting and he has some great insights into music if you pay attention. It is frusterating because many in choir don't really care enough about the music to listen.
