Very responsive by email and is available in office to help revise papers several times over. Very energetic. Had 4 papers total, with one final project based on the last paper, for English Comp II. Attendance required, as it is with all letu freshman classes. Easy to get a B, getting an A requires refined papers.

Professor Coppinger is inspirational. I took his creative writing class and feel in love with literature. Poems litter my journal because of his class. If I had the option I'd retake that class in a heart beat.

He is the best professor that God ever put upon this earth. He is so great that I brought him a cake on his birthday, and it was worth it. He has that all to rare quality of taking what seem to be boring pieces of literature and making them come alive and showing you the greatness of them. He is the best and no education is complete without him.

While Dr. Coppinger may be a great professor, his personality and emotions flucuate constantly. While this is usually a normal thing in most cases, with him it is not. His emotions (and how he feels towards you) effects your grade. Overall I think he is emotionally unstable, but passionate about literature.
