I took this class for a GenEd requirement and it was the worst decision I have ever made. I worked so hard on all the homework, papers, and tests and always got horrible grades with no feed back. His powerpoint's have good information but he's all over the place. He assumes that everyone taking this class has a good background with the subject.

Just took his Physics 116 class because I didn't want to take oceanography. He is a great guy and very nice but his tests and papers are incredibly difficult. A very interesting class but it will be tough to understand and lots of work for the tests and papers.

Physics 152 is a hard class that requires you to work for your grade; however, if you have to take this class, take it with Willocq. Not only is Professor Willocq a quirky and amusing guy, he is also great at preparing you for the exam. His lectures cover exactly what you need to know for the exams and he actually does out problems on the board!

He is passionate about the material and really makes sure that you know the material that is covered on the tests. The demos are cool and he has a great personality. Make sure you go to class and take notes. Don't forget a cheatsheet.

He threw an egg at the chalkboard. That's all I really need to say, I took this class for my science credit, passed and would take it again, just to see him throw another egg at the chalkboard. He's fun, has a great sense of humor and is smart, what's not to love?

Very nice guy, pretty adorable. Makes lectures interesting. Online homeworks can be really hard, Exams aren't bad. Go to class and bring prs. I had to learn most of the exam material myself, so pay attention and the book helps, not too difficult overall

posts his lectures online but not with the solutions to the answers. Gives practice exams with only 25% of the real exam on it. Written homeworks are abnormaly hard for a hw. makes class interesting so its worth showing up. make sure u got a prs. be ready to work hard for a grade.

Terrible professor. The only reason anyone passes this class is because of his grading scale, otherwise most would fail. He doesn't explain anything to help us w/ the HW &the day he decides to, it's literally within the last 30sec of class. Also from this semester and on, we get WRITTEN HW every WEEK and there's a WRITTEN problem each exam now too

Stephane is a pretty good teacher. He tries really hard and is passionate about the class. The lectures arn't that bad at all. His scaling allows you to fail exams and still mange to get an A or B. Just make sure you try to get full credit on PRS's and HW's

Had to take this class for my major (Kinesiology), and tho I really still can't stand physics, it was a decent class. Get max points for PRS, and try to get full credit on the homeworks, and you'll get a good grade. My exam scores were 83, 61 and 78, and I don't have to take the final, yet I have an A- in the class because of the PRS and homework.

He is an adorable foreign man! He has a heavy accent yet can still explain things more clearly than any other prof in the department. He allows cheat sheets and multiple answers to one question (so you can get partial credit). Its impossible to fail because his grading system helps those who aren't good test takers. Do the homeworks and PRS :)

He's a pretty nice guy. The class is really easy. As long as you go to class for PRS and do the homeworks, even if you get 60s or 70s on the tests, you'll still get a good grade. He also explains anything to you if you're confused.

Exams are pretty easy as long as you have a good cheat sheet. With full credit for PRS and about full credit for the HW, you don't have to have a very high exam grade average to get an A in the class.

It's true he is a nice guy, but he is really slow. It's takes him an hour to go over one problem, so therefore, he doesn't get anyhing done.
