She has dated her student who was much younger than her and she is still employeed. I prefer to have a professor with morals and ethics

She does not care about her students and lectures heavily. I did not learn much in her class and will not take her course again. She is tenured so she thinks she can do whatever she wants... and no one will be in her way which is the case unfortunately. Avoid her classes for your own mental health.

Solid professor for this class. Wasn't too much heavy material which made it nice. She is pretty nice and is down to earth. Would recommend.

Another great class from Dr. Schwartz! There are a lot of interesting things to learn about and she does a good job at keeping everyone engaged. There are a lot of labs, but it does kind of feel like there should be a few more. Overall, this is a great choice for a cs elective. No textbook. Optional attendance. One 10-page paper.

Dr. Schwartz is a great professor. This was a difficult class because of the material not because of the professor. She does a great job of providing enough information that you can figure out the rest on your own, and is always available to help if you can't figure something out. Highly Recommend.

Very good class. Dr. Schwartz covers a lot of material by leaving (pretty big) gaps for you to fill in with the awesome labs. Not necessarily an easy class as you need to work to figure out the labs and learn the languages but it's not overly difficult either. The only issue is how long the graders take to grade the web dev labs (quite a while).

Great class! Dr. Schwartz makes class entertaining and very informative. Her tests make you think but there are no unfair surprises and she is very willing to help you to understand the material. There is also great lab work. Sometimes she can be a bit disorganized but it's not really an issue at all. Take her classes whenever you can.

She is wonderful. She is like my mom. Seriously, never pass up a chance to take a class with her. She is a professor, a helpful person, a fair grader, and I am proud to call her a friend.

Schwartz is the best professor I've had for cs at Millersville so far. She gives good, informative lectures with relevant examples and a lot of hands-on work. There were 3 tests (no cumulative final) that weren't too hard or easy and a bunch of lab assignments that were fun and challenging. I would definitely recommend her for any chance you get.

Professor Schwartz's lectures are informative, attention keeping, and she explains things in multiple ways using diagrams to help you visualize the concepts. Her feedback on assignments is helpful, and she is great an answering questions in class. Always makes time for you after class if asked. A must take professor in the CS department.

I would like to say that I'm a math major and had Dr. Schwartz my first semester at Millersville. She made me love computer science and programming so much that I took it up as a minor. (And I had zero background with it prior to her course.) She's the best both professionally and personally. Strongly suggest taking her class!

Best Professor I've had at Millersville by far! Her sense of humor is very dry and it is hilarious. As long as you pay attention you should pass. Any class I see with Professor Schwartz teaching it, you can be sure I will be taking.

Dr. Schwartz is easily the best CS professor by far. She makes it clear that CS340 is all theory and that it may not be too useful for CS majors. She's always willing to help and is sharing funny stories. Even if I was failing this class, I'd still say she's awesome.

I felt this was a difficult class if you are not a cs major. You definitley need to take time to study outside of the class. The book is rarely used in class but I felt was helpful in studying. Dr. Schwartz makes this class bearable for those not interested in computer programming. There are three tests and a bunch of labs.

So far my experience at MU this semester has been so so. Dr. Elzer is a cut above average. Approachable, kind, understanding. Textbook is optional but benificial. The course load is not difficult and I believe she is more than fair.

Dr. Elzer is an awesome professor. She really understands the material and is very approachable if you need help. She has a good sense of humor and jokes around a lot. The low ratings are mostly math majors who were upset they needed to take a programming class.
