Stephanie was extremely enthusiastic, warm, and her intelligence is baffling. I highly recommend her classes. I took poetry and her Native Literature course. She laughs a lot and is a very good listener. I recommend her classes to all English Majors and anyone who is open to a new way of thinking and challenging preconceived notions.

i really wasn't interested in the topic, but stephanie makes you think and challenge your ways of thinking. she is very passionate about Native American lit, and it is obvious. she does grade pretty hard. this class was 3 papers and a final (which was another essay). she is very thorough. however, she is very sensitive to students' input.

If you're not an English major or don't enjoy English, I do not recommend her. I have no idea what she talks about in class and find it a waste of time to go. It's 4 hours a week that I'll never get back!

She's a very nice lady. She is very knowledgeable and seems to really enjoy teaching. Her style of teaching has really made me interested in Native American/Aboriginal culture. She grades pretty tough, but it is an english class, so grammatical errors are a no no. I really recommend her!

Native American Lit class - 300 level and world cultures liberal, but she's new and definitley doesn't realize most aren't english majors. She grades pretty tough, catches ANY grammatical problems, so proofread! BUT she is super nice, interested in what she's doing and just wants students to learn. Not the easiest liberal, but i'd recommend her.
