Lectures are boring( it's theology), but he is nice and easy grader. You can get an A if you do what you need to do. He emails quiz questions so you just memorize answers. Projects and 5 two-page paper based on reading.

Lectures are a big boring, but he's an interesting and nice guy. There is a decent amount of work, but its easy and very fair. Easy A. Try to participate and avoid txting and using the laptop. I actually enjoyed his class though, i would recommend him.

Cool guy. Class is kind of boring. Don't get caught facebooking or whatever because he'll take away your laptop privileges. Attend class. it's worth lots of points. he gives the questions to the quizzes and tests beforehand. you can't make up the weekly quizzes. group projects are graded easily. i got a better grade than i deserved.

Bottom two comments pretty accurate. A lot of work for a theology class (3 papers, 10 quizzes, project, midterm and final)But its all easy. Gives u ?s on quiz/test ahead of time. Class is boring and pointless. He rambles about nonsense and has 0 tolerance for phones/laptops (which sux) but the dude's a nice guy and if u put in little work, u get A

He is a nice teacher who is open to other ideas and beliefs. On the first day, the required work may seem overwhelming but it is not too difficult. The midterm and final are take-home papers, the questions for the quizzes are from the book and the papers are given specific instructions. Attendance is mandatory but going to class is not too bad.

He's a very chill and humorous man. However, sometimes I doubt his teacher ability. I feel that some of the things he teaches are his own interpretations and not really what is said. However, he's easy to pass and makes the class pretty fun to be in.

Best teacher I've had at St. John's. You have to work hard for your grade. I took a night class once a week so I had two quizzes a class, a midterm, a final, and a 5 page paper + logs so it came out to be 21 pages. It may sound hard but he's such a fair grader and he's so understandable, he makes it hard for you to do badly in the class. Take him!
