He basically comes in, teaches math, and leaves. Not much more, but his tests are very similar to the reviews. Two tests and a final with about one homework for every two weeks.

People who say this is a bad professor are just upset they're not doing well on the tests. You don't have to show up to class, and can just do homework problems an infinite amount of times to study for the test.

He is a good professor. He gives lots of example. His tests are multiple choice. Partial credit is given by giving you the option to select multiple responses for less credit. Don't overuse it. Check myMathLab for HW. He doesn't tell you when he posts it or when it's due.

I dont even know what to say. Worst ever. Multiple choice math tests (a-h) for options. Math is hard and he doesn't help.

The material itself is pretty tough, and Dilworth doesn't make it any easier. Lectures can get boring and confusing most of the time. His tests are tough, but if you review the homework and do the review problems, you should be fine.

Dillworth has exceeded my expectations in regards to other reviews. A lot of homework and somewhat difficult tests are my only complaints. Lowest test grade will be replaced my final, I should get an A or B+. He gives great examples with every concept. He is kind and answers questions in class. It really comes down to putting effort in the hw. :)

HARDEST CLASS I'VE EVER TAKEN. WITH A TEACHER WHO BY MEANS MAKES IT NO EASIER. Moves through topics as if they're EASY, no one understands, my class went from 80 to 25 within the week after the first test because everyone failed. You can save yourself on the final (I had straight F's and got a C in the class), but i dont recommend taking him.

The accent never gets old. He gives a practice test before every exam that is exactly like the exam. You can pretty much memorize it. I think that's why I got an A.

This is one lazy professor, and that's a good thing in this case. All of his tests are multiple choice, and relatively easy. I took Kustin and flunked. With Dilworth I'm walking away with a B. He's not a good professor, but do the hw and go to recitation and this is the easiest 142 you'll find.

Great professor, has a commanding knowledge and interest in math, reads math books for fun. He's a bit awkward, but friendly if you try to talk to him. His tests aren't that difficult, multiple choice and are there to test your understanding of calculus, not your tricky algebra skills. Highly Recommended.

I thought he was very good, multiple choice tests are very easy, you can circle up to three answers for each question. Very intelligent, if you don't understand something in class be sure to ask questions, most people are scared but he wants you to understand it. Very nice guy when he warms up to you, I highly recommend him

Prof. Dilworth is a very good teacher, all you have to do is pay attention and go to class. I did maybe 3 homework assignments throughout my time in his course and I managed a B+. As long as you study for the tests decently hard, this class should be easy.

Dilworth is obviously an intelligent individual, however, he is very un-personable & he can't introduce new concepts without making them harder than they are. When asking for help, he is vague with his responses then makes you feel stupid for asking them. Make sure to know proofs and definitions, they are on all of the test.

Professor Dilworth is highly educated in advanced mathematics and knows what he is teaching. Some of my classmates found his test to be hard though I found them to be very easy. Formal understanding of proof's are needed to pass the class.

He is good at math but not very good at teaching it. He will answer your questions but will most likely laugh at you for asking first. I am really good at math and this class was a bit of a struggle. SI helped a lot. I would advise not taking him. Especially if you are not really good at calculus.

He pretty much just read straight from the book and expected people to know what he was talking about. Don't ask question because he will either laugh at you or shut you down. The only way you will know what is going on is if you go to SI.

Indifferent to your performance in his class. Absolutely no extra credit. Manageable tests. Will copy you're entire solution onto the board before he tells you you're wrong, so don't answer questions. Seems like a nice man with an awkward sense of humor, but not a professor I'd ever choose to have again.

Walks into class and starts teaching, often goes over the time class should end. Test are multiple choice but very hard. GO TO SI, it's the only way you will learn. Only take his class if it is your last choice.
