Incredibly difficult class. Heavy lectures. Does not curve grades. 5 tests (final is cumulative) at 120 points each. Monotone. Lectures during most of his lab times. Hard lab tests too; however, a bit easier than his lecture tests, but you still have to study hard for them.

He makes corny jokes that makes him funny, but thats about it. Its hard to understand the material and he moves through the slides really fast. Tests pop up out of nowhere and I dont do good because I dont understand the phsyiology. Hes also late to class frequently, every time im there I want to leave right away.

He is my favorite teacher. He is very intelligent and is prepared to answer any of your questions. He tries to make a lot of jokes, which are are really cheesy, which end up being really hilarious because of this. I would definitely recommend him as a teacher, except you need to do your part and study, study, study.

I was genuinely scared to take the Anatomy and Physiology series, but Dr. Hensley makes it easy to understand the difficult material. There is a lot of work in his class, including 8 exams in total (3 practicals, 5 exams), but if you read, show up, and engage yourself, expect a decent grade. He requires a 94.5% to achieve an A, unfortunately.

Dr. Hensley is teaching a tough course, but if you just make sure you read the material and use the SI sessions that are available you should be fine. He is a very helpful professor if you'll just go up to him and ask after class if you still need clarification.

Before this class started, I was scared to death, but don't be! There are no tricks, just study, go over the review questions, study some more, and you should do okay. Just make sure you STUDY!! I think he is a good prof. If you have questions, just ask, and he will try to help you understand.

Dr. Hensley is brilliant - he is SO smart.. But sometimes he is too smart for us.. He goes into such detail and it throws a lot of the students off.. He def. knows a lot about the subject, but can't teach it that well. His tests are rediculous and he words his questions very weird. You need to study A LOT for this class.

Dr Hensley's class is the hardest I've ever taken! You learn so much in such a short time, but if you work hard and aren't afraid to ask questions you can succeed in his class. His tests are grueling, but they will show you if you really know the material or just memorized it. The lectures could be jazzed up some. Maybe some in class group projects

He instructs a very organized class. Doesn't worry about dumb assignments, it's all geared towards the exams. The first tests were easy, I thought. But towards the end I had to work very hard to keep my A, almost lost it on the final but retained it. His exams get progressively harder. It staggers the mind, how much material we covered.

Um, well, he dose have a dry sense of humor, which normally bugs the hell out of me, but he can be pretty funny. I think he just needs to pay attention to his students needs a little bit more and the class would be great!
