Very easy class. Attendance isn't a big deal... never really miss anything important. Very passionate about what he does though and always willing to help! Great guy even though he rambles and talks about whatever he wants for the day, it's an easy class! Not many assignments to turn in.

Mr. Cockerham is a wonderful teacher! I took his internet class and absolutely loved it! He tells you all your assignments in the beginning so you can work at your pace, and ask for help if you need it. He will also grade your paper and if you are not happy with your grade he will let you resubmit for a better grade. Always there to help!

Loved this class and Dr. Cockerham. He told us straight out what to expect went exactly b the syllabus but once he graded the assignment he gave you a chance to better your grade if you wanted to try. He, like me is an animal lover so sometimes he will get a little off track telling you a great story. I learned so much from him and would recommend.

He is an awesome professor, makes class interesting and fun, I learned so much during his courses, I have had several and he is also my advisor. Mr. Cockerham is a wonderful teacher! I took his internet class and absolutely loved it! i had steve for counseling theory and practice and i have to say he is the best teacher i've had since being here at etsu. extremely nice and VERY caring. if you want to do good in his class, he'll see to it that you do. praises individuality and desire to do well.

Steve is AWESOME! He is so helpful and understanding. He is by far the best professor in the HDAL department and also a great advisor!!! He may be vague on assignments, but that just means you have freedom to do it as you like. MUST TAKE his courses!

This professor was very helpful. He specifically tells you that you have a 'tenadive schedule' and nine times out of ten, he won't follow it. But the best part is, you actually end up learning exactly what you need from this class. It really opened up me eyes to more than I would see prior to me taking this class.
