Easy class. Steve is pretty laid back, not harsh with grading. He has stories during lecture to keep things interesting, which is nice. Pretty straight forward and useful for anyone interested in audio.

Comment:

This class was great. The course was a good hands on opportunity to learn audio techiniques for both studio and field. Steve is a very social and easy going professor. Be sure to keep up with audio work and understanding how to use the equipment.

To be perfectly honest, Steve is one of the best professors that I have had in my college journey. I say this because Steve genuinely cares about his students understanding of the material. Another thing that makes Steve a great teacher is that he explains to students what they did wrong and how they can fix it.

I think that the Audio class that steve teaches is pretty good. I enjoyed hearing his stories about how his experienxces. What I would say is that there isn't enough audio info in the class. I wish it would have been harder intelexualy, maybe more test over why audio works and the technical of how to record audio in different situations.

Steve is a cool guy. I have him for remote and audio. He tells it like it is, which is refreshing. I like the projects in audio and the live feel of remote. Steve will help you if you need help, but expects you to try to figure it out for yourself first. Overall a good teacher, always keeps it real.

Seriously this guy rocks! He totally knows his stuff, reason because of his years of experience in the field. If you want to learn from a great professor about audio then Steve is the man in that department! Not only that he is also a really funny but able to take his work seriously and teach you what you need to learn!

This is a really cool class. The only thing is that I really want to speak for most of my projects because I like that almost more than editing. I already pretty much know how to work with talent and audio because of video one and video 2.

Steve is great, and has dry hilarity. His class is pretty straightforward, and it would be hard to try and fail the tests. Projects teach the basics and are pretty open to creativity. I thought he graded fair and really noticed individual strengths and improvements over the semester. Loves hockey!

Steve is an "ok" guy. He dosent require a book which is nice. He expects a LOT for a 100 level course and really can put you down if your project isnt "THE BEST". I don't think we should have to be "experts" and our projects be the best when this is one of the first tvpr classes. The class requires alot of project work in short amounts of time.

Very easy to get along with. Knows his stuff. Knows how to teach about it. Grades projects fairly, tests are "basics"....no tricks. Has a sense of humor, which is RARE in TVP professors. A+ professor! Looking forward to his "OPS" class.
