Professor Elmer is one of the best professors I have ever had. Sure the lectures can be dry, but he is knowlegable and caring. I would reccommend him to anyone.

Comment:

It isn't the most fun class he teaches and he says that himself. He lets you fight for points back on exams. Make sure you pay attention in class and take notes. He does go through them fast but you can always ask to go back. Not a bad teacher overall though.

Have had him for several classes, boring at first. He is very informed on subject matters. Cares about what he teaches, and has great real world experience. I would suggest criminal investigation with him as a great course. If you have problems with sleeping listen and take notes in his class, there are no power point cheat sheets to go off of.

I was really nervous about this class because I heard that it was very difficult. I had him his first sememster back teaching it, and he hates teaching it. I'm assuming thats why he makes the tests easy. I recieved B's on the test and he was very helpful when needed. Very boring person but nice man!

Very easy to get a good grade in all his classes. Doesn't use power point for notes just stands at the front of the class and reads his notes. Extremely easy tests and assignments. Definitely recommend him for all classes.

He is Adorable! And he definately knows what he's talking about. He has a lot of experience. His tests aren't hard and he gives free points if you argue for answers when he's going over them. No homework but lectures can get a bit long sometimes.

He is hard to hear most of the time, and goes through notes/test reviews too fast. His tests aren't the hardest, but they are all cumulative. He shows a lot of videos that are interesting, but sometimes it seems like he has no material to teach and that's why he shows them... Overall, he's knows his stuff and is interested in the classes opinions.

Knows his material but monotone voice that doesnt change. REALLY boring REALLY fast. Difficult book - material just doesn't stand out like other text books. His tests are medium difficulty. Go to class and you can pass easily. Elmer recommends reading the book or pop quiz will occur. Pop quiz happened once in my class. VERY interesting videos too.

Very experienced but sometimes has trouble explaining, and depends too much on class participation. Is much better in Crim Law. A big plus is the lack of homework and only 2 tests in the course.
