Guerrier is the man. If you don't learn well by straight lectures, he may not be the professor for you since that's all class is. But if you can learn that way, he is absolutely amazing. Really cares about students and the material. 2 exams and a paper are your grade. I cannot recommend him enough, and look forward to taking another class with him!

Guerrier is a legend. Both he and his lectures are hilarious, and he clearly knows what he is talking about. You should go to as many classes as you can, because just writing down key points of what he says will get you a high grade on the exam, but he tries to give you points on the two exams everywhere he can. Definitely take the class, he's boss

Cool guy, interesting class. If you are used to Powerpoint Slides or some guide for lectures, you're screwed. His entire class is a narrative of his profound knowledge for American History... and shooting bears. Didn't get much information out of it, but just a cool experience.

Steve is the man. Straight lecture--learn to take notes with no aid. The entire class is one semester-long narrative and his wealth of knowledge is incredible. Will crack you up and teach you cool stuff about history. Midtern, term paper (12-15p) and final. You need to study the terms a fair amount, but you can get an A on the tests if you work.

This man loves history, and you will come out of this class for a new found appreciation for it. There are no visual aids for lectures, and he just talks in a narrative from start to finish of class. So, you will need to adjust your note taking and study habits. 2 tests which he lets you pick the format of, & a paper. Great class.

He is hands down the best professor I have ever had. If you have any chance to take HIST 330, take it! I took it over Maymester and I learned an incredible amount in those four weeks. Guerrier is an incredibly down to earth professor. He's extremely helpful and flexible when it comes to assignments/test structure

American History has been told through re-enactments, plays, books, shows and some great movies. This class is the most entertaining form of American History I've experienced. Guerrier is the man he deserves a trophy for being awesome.

Amazing professor and a great class. He knows a hell of a lot and comes up w/ really interesting lecture. The class is pretty straight forward, not too hard to get an A. He assigns a lot of books, but it's really up to you how much to read them, can definitely get an A w/o reading any. One of the best profs I've had so far.

Dr. Guerrier will make any other teacher look like chimpanzee. His knowledge and enthusiasm is amazing; and his personal stories are both relevant and funny as hell. Midterm, final, paper. You do need to go to class and take really good notes, but the tests will be a breeze after you do that. TAKE HIM.

Best class! Guerrier is intelligent, irreverent and awesome. His voice is soothing and in a huge lecture class, it was easy to fall asleep. But you want to take good notes and skim the text b/c your grade is all about the tests and your final paper. Low stress class, but lots of info. He's really friendly and helpful if you have a question.

yo this guy looks like he drinks a fifth of whiskey every night, and sounds like he smokes a pack of camels every night, that being said he knows this subject front to back and is VERY laid back... every paper i turned in was late and it was no big deal at all, didnt even get points taken off for it
