Lectures sometimes felt a bit dry but Steven's passion is also a bit contagious. Much of the material was already covered in the prerequisites and some of the data seemed a bit out dated. There was a huge workload and very little feedback or suggestions. Overall the class was alright.

He offered the class a default grade of A- to everyone so he wouldn't have to sully himself with actually grading the work. How do people like this actually get tenure? On the other hand, maybe that's why he doesn't seem to care. Everything that is wrong with academia is embodied in this man.

To say he's unorganized is an understatement, never really know your grades until the end. Remember to go into class full of food/used the bathroom as he won't break unless he needs/wants one, which is rare. He rambles off topic too, and assigns to much reading/work for credits.

I am so glad that I took the course; however, it is a hard course as well. The prof is so educated to me and he masters his research in Children and Media. He is very helpful during the paper discussion. The bad thing is he gives us tons of works to do!

Extremely work intensive, crazy workload. Brilliant man who's way too knowledgable to be a teacher. veeeery long lectures, often very dry. Difficult marker but very nice personality.
