There are no tests in his class, only papers. If you're a good writer, you might have a chance. Deeply cynical and critical, expect your papers to be ripped into tiny shreds. Smart, but that also means he's very opinionated. Classes are discussion-oriented, but he's very one-sided.

Professor Snyder is by far one of the best Professors I have had. He is very insightful, and knows his material. There are no test's in his class, but you will have to write a few papers. Generally three papers for a unit, and then an overall unit paper. I would highly recommend that you take any of the courses that he teaches.

Great professor. He is still my advisor and awesome in class. He made the subject matter fun and interesting. We got to see a new magic trick everyday because it related to the course. He kept up to date on grades and followed the textbook closely . Definitely recommend

I don't know how anyone could know as much about everything as this guy. He's funny nice & really makes you think. He likes to hear the classes opion & get everyone talking. By the end of class I actually wanted to read all of Plato. If you get a chance to have him teach you do it. Oh ya no test but you better know how to write well.

Very insightful! He knows what he's talking about and is mysteriously wise. He makes the LOGOS class manageable, but doesn't let stuff slide. Totally deserves a chili pepper!

Steve Snyder is very helpful to students. He is very helpful with grammer and writing as well because he is an english major. Terrific personality and easy to get along with. He was the advisor for the grand views newspaper students and he was perfect
