Dr. Williams loves and is knowledgeable about every topic he speaks about. He's proud of his area of study and his Race and Ethnicity class is no different. His class offered quality perspective and thoroughness. There is a couple tests and a paper. Show up, do the work, and you'll get a good grade.

Dr. William's class is really interesting. He is passionate about Sociology and teaching. He really cares. His test can be tricky they are weirdly worded so study for them. He does give you a chance to earn 20 extra credit points. Would seriously recommend him for SOC 121!!!

This class is extremely boring. Must of the information is history based rather than being more sociological. There are 3 test and a paper. Attendance is graded. He is an alright prof., but he isn't very helpful or understanding. He knows his stuff but he he almost acts cocky while teaching. He is a somewhat hard grader so it is not an easy A class

Dr. Williams is an amazing professor who really cares about his students and what he's lecturing about. However, he teaches a tough class. I took it 3 times and the best grade I got was a C-. I didn't go to a lot of classes though, because attendance isn't mandatory. Read the book and TAKE NOTES. Tests are very specific and difficult, so STUDY!!!!!

Dr. Williams is the sociology professor everyone dreams about. He's hilarious and very entertaining, but he's also very informed in his subject and you will learn a lot. His tests are based 50-50 on lectures and independent reading of the book, so don't skip on the readings. He offers extra credit, and is very open with opportunities for it.

One of my favorite professors at USI, wish I could take him for other classes! He makes class enjoyable and challenges you. My favorite thing about his style of teaching is he doesn't care how well you can memorize some facts, he wants you to think critically about what he has taught you. Tests are hard, extra credit assignments are interesting!

You won't be bored. He is really great at making the class enjoyable even if he is talking to 250+ students at a time. Very interesting person and as open minded as he is intelligent. Clear study guides. Follow them and you will get an A.

He is a great professor with so much enthusiasm and truly loves what he teaches. He makes the class enjoyable and allows you to get up to 20 bonus points which really helps. His tests are very specific though, so you really have to work for it if you want to get a good grade.

Really enjoyed this class. I don't do well in forum classes, but the SI sessions offered really help. There is not any homework, but you have 3 in class assignments that are really simple. The test are a mix of lectures and book readings, so attendance is necessary.

Dr. Williams is a great professor! His tests are can be a little difficult, but if you go to class and read the textbook you should be fine. He really tries to make his lectures interesting, even when the topics are a little dull. I'm not a sociology major, but if I got the chance to take one of his classes again I definitely would.

Dr. Williams is by far my most favorite professor. He is so passionate about sociology and culture. His lectures are not posted online, so class attendance is a must. He is a really hard grader on exams, but I learned a ton in this class. Three exams (with study guides) and a paper, plus no textbook required. Awesome prof.
