Steve Sherrill was one of the best professors I've had at college. He gives good feedback, but will never tell you your work is bad. There is a lot of writing for the class, but mostly poetry and short stories. Class participation, and showing up to class, are mandatory if you want to pass, but overall, he was one of my favorite professors.

He is extremely smart. There are class discussions and he asks the questions which gets everyones mind going which creates good debates and I don't even like debates. There were no quizzes or tests or final but we had a few readings and a project or two. If I were you...I'd take this class.

VERY easy teacher, hes very laid back and fun. Being a english course, you have a few short papers to write, but they are often interesting topics. Lots of group discussions, and the class environment is very relaxed. Highly recemmonded teacher!

took this class as an elective and i dont like to write either. was on of the only classes i looked forward too. mostly inclass work. fun at times if you have some interesting people in the class. have to read your work at times, but no big deal, steve is really nice and a great prof, i definitely would take him as a prof again

Hot prof, for an old guy. Always interesting discussions, expects you to participate, but he keeps it going and fun. Don't buy the book! Easy Papers due pretty much every class period, and one larger paper at the end. You never do know your grade until the semester's over, though. Worth takining

"Minotaur" is a fantastic novel. You'd kind of be a schmuck to dis it and not even spell it right. Steve is dedicated, talented, easygoing. If you want to remember why going to college is worth your time and money, take something with him.
