Comment:

The best and most talented science teacher I have ever had the priveledge of learning under. She was deliberate and intelligent, quirky but sweet, and taught at HCC Since the 1970s. Unfortunately Professor Sue Bard passed away roughly a year ago. Her daughter in-law (L. Bard) carries on her teaching legacy in the biol dept. May she rest in peace.

One of the best teachers ive ever had! The comment on 4-14 was not true at all!! I never prepared for class and she taught us everything. She was in the hospital for our final and encouraged us to come study with her if we needed any help. Shes the sweetest person and really cares about her students.

She is the nicest old lady. Only reason why I got a B was I screwed up in the lab, but her class was easy. She has very good visual aids to explain some of the complicated things and the CD is also very good at explaining. Take her.

She explains things very well, stops for questions, and is available for help outside class. However, her grading is too generous. Despite getting a high "A" in the course, I feel as though I'm inadequetly prepared for upper-level courses or transferring. She is a good teacher, but a push-over. I took Prof. Bard's Honors Seminar over a year ago,& I still think about many of the topics we discussed. Pretty much, everybody presented a biology-related article, & then she encouraged open discussion. It was very mind-opening and wish I could still join in ! She's a great professor who knows how to get her students excited about learning!
