You have to follow her directions word for word. If not, there will be major point deductions. The exams are easy b/c she tells you what will be on it & provides you with notes. The papers & presentation is the most challenging parts of this class. Following directions is very important here!

Follow her directions word for word. She takes big points off of projects if you do not do exactly what she wants you to do. Her class is challenging, but you will learn a lot from her. Her tests come directly from the notes she gives out. I recommend taking global strats with her

She is very clear on what she wants. There are two projects, but if you follow her directions you will do just fine. She tells you exactly what will be on the test, so it cannot get any easier than that. She offers tons of extra credit. Final is optional.

If you are intelligent and a hard working student, you will do fine. She is a great professor, one of the best professors that I have taken at FAU. I learned a lot from Dr. Dahmus and if she was teaching another class, I will totally take her again.

Dr. Dahmus is a great professor. The class demands quite a bit of time, but she is very clear with her instructions and what she expects. She even provides work samples so you know what she's looking for. Just follow her instructions! Need the book - test come from notes and book. Make sure you get in a good group for the presentation.

Here is the deal with this teacher: Do what she asks and you will do just fine. There are five projects which she tells you exactly how she wants done. Her tests are from the notes she gives to you. If you can memorize then you will pass this class fairly easily.

Dr Dahmas is simply the best. I have gained so much insight from her lectures. If you are lazy and want to leave FAU Knowing very little then I would suggest that you do not take her. However, if you are the type of student who wants to make an impact in the business world, Dr Dahmas will help take you there. She is very helpful.I love this lady!!!

Dr.Dahumus comes off as a really mean teacher, but you realize she's a pretty sweet lady. The class is alot of work, but she is one of the best professors to take it with.Her 3 tests are easy as she tells you exactly what is going to be on them.She gives you precise instructions for the(5)papers.Final is opitonal so, you could be done 2 weeks early

On top of exams there are 5 projects & 1 presentation, each of which requires one to apply the knowledge from the text. So don't believe the hype, this is not a memorize vocab for an A kinda class. The test questions are clear and not setup to trick you & Dahmus goes over all the material you'll be tested on.

Don't expect this class to be easy; it will be a lot of work, but Dr. Dahmus is a great professor. You will learn a lot, but you MUST follow directions and read the book. Some test questions are very tricky, but there is usually a curve. Best, yet most challenging, class I've taken while at FAU.

Like everyone else said, follow directions, dont be late and do all the participation, you will pass for sure. She comes off as rude but is only trying to prepare you for the world. She curves the tests a lot.

Follow directions. She tells you exactly whats on the exam and tells you exactly how she wants her assignments done. Don't screw up. If you follow directions you'll most likely pass with an A or B. Don't be late to class, she hates that and will embarrass you in front of the class. She's funny and quite nice actually.

She tends to scare student at the beginning of the semester. Very strict professor, you must attend to pass the class. That said, I got c- on both of my tests and I passed the class with a B. They key to that, is to really good in you presentation and your paper. You also have a choice to take the final. Do everything she want and you will do great

There are 3 tests, 1 optional final, a BIG group presentation, & a writing assignt. You must attend the pres. to earn class part. Not very helpful with presentation or writting assignment; her view on it is that if she helps one person she has to help everyone. Do the pres. wrong; she'll yell at you in front of the WHOLE class -very Demeaning

I disagree with the previous people. I absolutely hate econ and have a really tough time with it, but I found her class and teaching style to be effective and interesting. Although she can be intimidating at times, you can break through her tough exterior and she is nice and understanding once you do. I'd take her again defi.
