Sue is amazing! There is a lot of textbook reading involved in both classes, but it is manageable if you keep on top of it! She is accessible for any questions you have and is very caring! She also provides a lot of additional links for better understanding of the concepts.

Easy course, but do not slack off and skip discussions/video assignments, etc. They aren't difficult and I treat them like participation marks. Overall, Sue's chill and easygoing. Take the course!

Took an online course with Sue; she gives really good individual feedback and is prompt with her replies. Her online course was very heavily reliant on the textbook and the 100 choice multiple choice questions put your reading to the test. Didn't even read her notes. Participation is mandatory; overall a wonderful professor!

Loads of work in this class. Online discussion every other week. 100 MCQ given 90 min to do every other week. 40 MCQ based on lectures every other week. Lots of googling, training your typing speed. She's very nice! I recommend to finish as many MCQ as possible in the first 2 weeks of semester so you'll have more time later on in the semester

Great prof. I've taken a few online psychology classes with her and have very much enjoyed them. There is a fair amount of material covered in her classes so you need to stay on top of it however she is very helpful if you have any questions, and is quick to respond to emails. Highly recommend.

Took Psyc 1215 online. Everything was explained on course outline. Only had to reach out to her a couple times so nothing to really report. Chapter test every two weeks of 100 MC questions. Video assignment for each chapter. Must participate in online discussion at least twice each chapter. Very straight forward but you must do your reading!

Had her for two semesters for the online Psych 1115 and 1215 courses. Really basic criteria with a video assignment every 2 weeks and a chapter test every 2 weeks (not the same week and can be done anytime during a 24 hour time period), plus weekly participation in online topics. Probably the best online class(s) I took at Langara.

Taking psych online with Sue was an awesome decision, the class won't take up much time at all in your busy schedule. You are expected to post 2 discussion posts per week and alternating weeks there is either a quiz on a series of videos or a chapter test, both of which are mc. Sue is quick to reply to emails and is very nice!

I took the online course, which was super easy, weekly quiz and assignment must be handed in on time, all the tests are MC, there is a term paper, but no final exam! She is an easy marker, never asked her for help, cuz the instructions she gave us were clear enough...

A very stubborn old lady. I'm not sure how she is in other classes, but she is pretty much useless in her online courses. No feedbacks for assignments besides "well done", regardless of the marks received. Does not explain or go over the exams written, and does not tell us what we've gotten wrong. NOT recommended for serious psych majors.

Easy but useless as a teacher. If you are taking psychology seriously, do not take her class. She does not even go over the exam results with you, and only shows the marks. Uses "this is an online course" as an excuse for not doing her job properly. Very insecure, very emotional, barely logical, and very stubborn about her ways. Not recommended.

I took her online course. There are mc exams every week. and annoying hw which req. watching the cd.Reading each chapter is mandatory. Questions are pretty straight forward. One term paper which is pretty easy i got 96. Participate in online discussions and dont be lazy to hand in hw as i was when sem was almost over
