She is a good teacher. Exams are 70% of your grade. She gives pretty easy example problems but the tests are very difficult, you can use some notes on them.

Comment:

The after classwork is time consuming. The Exam is too lengthy, the HW is too confusing, and classwork material are easy to understand. Her teaching method is exemplary but the course material by the school is unbearable. Yearly Class Average Exam Grade is less than 45% according to her. You get 4 exams, First is hardest, easier as time passes.

She was a pretty solid professor. Almost felt like a high school class because it was pretty interactive and seems like we were laughing about something every class. wasn't the usual go in, write something, and roll out in silence The beginning of the class is pretty difficult, but it gets easier as you go on. Not many assignments, so be mindful.

Comment:

Assignments were based off of access, excel, and word. Easy and didn't take much time to complete. There were two tests that could be taken at any point in the semester. I accidentally missed one assignment, but it didn't effect my grade much. Always makes sure the week before's assignment is graded before the current one needs to be completed.

She is tough, but you learn a lot. She makes you work for your grade. The first test is the hardest and then they become easy. Must go to class

At first, I did not like this professor. Be sure to take as much notes as possible during her lectures. She allows 3 FULL sheets of paper as a cheat sheet for the exams.

While she's tough, she's a good professor. She does multiple problems so you get the grasp of things, it's true the exams are hard but that's a given. See her if you need help!! Definitely ask questions & do the homework, it helps so much. Even if you understand it, keep practicing, she wants you to understand the problem in a variety of ways.

If you're a good test taker, then take her. If not, avoid her. She gives super easy, basic problems in class and then on the tests the problems are ridiculously hard. Her homework is nothing like the tests too and she is very unorganized. Not impressed at all.

Took this class over the winter term. Solid choice if you take it with her over this short 3 week term. The class and professor go very fast, but you get it done in 3 weeks. The class consisted of 3 tests, and lots of homework that was irrelevant to what was on tests. The first test is a review test and is hard, but the last two are much easier.

While the class wasn't too difficult, I really was not impressed by Sumathy. She would give us problems to do, but only had her solution at her desk, didn't go over all the problems assigned. Most of us in class found it very frustrating. Her first test was pretty hard, but there's lots of room to make up for it with the take home portion.

She is a good professor, can be unclear at times with online homework and quizzes. If you show up to class follow along with her and do the busy work this is an easy B. If you do well on the exams (4) then getting an A is not hard at all. If you have no other options take her but i have heard Hahn is an easier professor. Overall a solid choice. R

Pretty fair teacher. I had no problem with her and got A's in both classes. She has a good sense of humor and is easy to talk to. She'll help you out if you need it and doesn't go fast at all. Material was fairly easy and should be an easy B, and pretty easily attainable A if you put in like 30 mins a week to study. Would recommend her.

This professor is wonderful! Don't take these classes with anyone else except her. I took her for both 281 and 326 and got a B. 281 will work you to death, but both classes are very doable, especially once you learn her teaching style. Tests are simple and usually have no surprises. If you ever need help, just go to her office!

She is so hilarious. Textbook is useless, but you need to buy it for the tables which you'll use on tests all the time. She's hard at first, but things get much easier so don't worry. Study though because even though some material may seem really easy, she makes the test hard. This is basically Math 155 to the next level. Sumathy is great though!

This Professor is super sweet! She really is a down to earth professor. She picks on people when they are late to class! Exams are really easy because she gives 2 cheat sheets! You do have to study for the exams though. The homework is not bad either. I thought i would never make it through this class but she made it easier!

I initially had her for a fall term. I dropped it solely because I am not good at math. Retook her in winter. Ended up with a B as every test was open notes or take home. If you got something wrong and went to her explaining your math, she was willing to give you some points back to your test. I should have taken her for Info 326. Shes great!

I took this class during winter and it was super easy. Classes were supposed to be 2.5 hours every day of the week and she only kept us longer than an hour once. She teaches you everything you need to know, cut and dry. I hardly relied on my textbook at all. With it being winter and fast paced, all quizzes were either take home or open note.

She's a really good teacher and explains things really well. You get at least one cheat sheet for every exam. However, she's not a very fair grader. Many instances where I would get points taken off for something and the person next to me would get credit for it. Good teacher overall.
