I loved this class! Aizenberg does a great job of making expectations clear and explaining what she wants. And don't worry if creative writing isn't your thing - she pretty much only grades off for grammar.

Ridiculously easy class--didn't get a single point off the entire semester. Pay att'n in class (take notes in books to use for exams, midterm and final are in-class essays) but doing the reading isn't necessary. Put effort into final presentation, she really likes music, artistry (last-minute powerpoints won't cut it). Passionate about poetry.

Excellent professor, highly recommended. If you are Creative Writing, this is who you want. She knows her field (poetry) extremely well. Productive workshop sessions. Takes mandatory attendance, but that's every professor at Creighton. Easy enough class if you put the effort in - just write correctly and hit the page lengths and you'll be fine.

Prof. Aizenberg is wonderful. She is passionate and knowledgeable about Creative Writing. She is clear with her expectations, helpful with her comments, and funny in class. But if she dislikes you/your writing, she can be snarky and sassy (though this is amusing to students who are on her good side, so it depends I suppose) I recommend her fully.

Fairly easy class, as long as you at least make an attempt to do the readings. Very nice, class is interesting. She assigns questions to each reading that you submit on blueline. 2 tests (midterm & final) and one creative project, can literally be anything you choose.

Prof. Aizenberg's class is pretty simple. I didn't really read all of the assignments all I did was read enough to answer her study questions. Participate in class and try to sound like you know what you're talking about and you're solid

For this class, she has you do a lot of reading and discussion questions with two in-class essays (midterm & final), and a project. If you keep up with the readings/questions you will do fine. She's an easy grader when it comes to discussion questions so no worries. But she takes attendance every class

Professor Aizenberg is awesome. I was really angry that Poetry was the only honors class that fit my schedule, but she made it an awesome experience. I was very apprehensive about writing poetry beforehand, but she was very helpful and insightful. Great discussion leader and teacher in general. Would definitely recommend her for any class.

She is really nice as long as you stay on her good side. Everything everyone else has said is true unless you get on her bad side. Then she can be very rude and unfair.
