If you struggle with math like I do then Prof. Beane is the one for you! Don't even think about signing up for anyone else but her! As long as you work hard, show up to tutorials she will help you get through this course. I've already pre-registered for her 1301 course in the fall!

I took Ms. Beane for 0300, 1300 and 1301. I couldn't have done it without her. When I entered 0300 I was 39 years old, the last math class taken was in high school. I was scared and self defeating. Ms. Beane told me I could do it if I worked hard and she was right! I have to thank her for getting me through. She was a godsend to me.

It was very hard to understand what she said but there was alot of students talking,listing to music off the phones the work is ok if you can keep up with her she goes at a fast pace you got to go class everyday she might do a whole chapter in one class period

She is a sweet, sweet lady. She will act tough but once you get to know her she is very nice. She will go the extra mile to help. The material can be difficult but if you do all the quizzes, practice tests, and homework...you should get a fair grade.

before i took this class with her, i always failed but once i took her class i passed. i really enjoy her teaching and i highly recommend her! if you dont understand something she will stop and explain until you get it. attendance is important bc she sometimes gives easy quizes and are put towards your grade.

Beane is very clear and pacient when teaching. She's very fair when grading and the class itself is easy. But at the end of the semester she began rushing to cover all the material and began to arrive late so she would extend the class. Nonetheless, it as an easy A.

Awesome teacher. She makes the class seem so easy. Easy tests, "attendance" is a 1-question quiz that happens almost every other day at the beginning of class. The only thing about this class is that you really need to keep up with your journal until the very end because you will find it VERY useful on tests! Gives a LOT of extra credit!!

I would say take her if you don't understand the material. Honestly, I would go to class to take the daily quizzes, but leave right after (as did half the class). Her tests are the EASIEST I have ever taken... 10 questions, 10 points each with mostly one word/# answers. Only thing... the journals. They help for the tests but are so time consuming!

I liked her. She is a hippie, or it seem so. She is very engergetic and very nice. She does explain things into very simple detail so you don't have to be emabarass to ask questions. She does everything step by step for people who have a hard time learning math. I like her. I advice to take her if you are like me and struggle through math.

I liked Beane's teaching method, but when it came to topics like functions, exp, and logs, she confused me (she makes dances for graphs of functions which I never understood) and that's when my grades began to plummet. PROS: arrives late so extra time for homework; very helpful. CONS: sometimes teaches material AFTER the lesson is due for HW.

really easy class. if u do bad on one of ur tests shell replace it with you final exam test grade if you do better on it and the final exam is easy b/c its multiple choice. i made an A in her class
