I got a B and failed the mid-term. For the final project, she gives you the option of being graded as a group or individual. If you so the costumes for the project, then pay attention to the changes in the play. She will get pissed if you don't. I got a 96 on my project because I paid attention to the costumes changes.

Read other comments. Wow some of these people just don't want to learn. She is really smart and funny. And makes fun of herself. Takes theater and shows you how it effects the world. She calls it world view. If you want to learn more than just the usual take her.

Mean. I really didn't like her. She makes you think that you really have to read the book so I wasted my time for 1/2 a semester. The final and midterm are open book--and they are word for word from the book. Time consuming stupid project. Usless class.

She has a wicked sense of humor and is extremely knowledgeable. She asks you a lot of questions, but don't expect her to rest with just pat answers. She shows you how theater has effected the world around us and its place in history. I will never look at a play or movie the same way again. Really tries to make you think.

Loves what she teaches. Talks about herself and LA a bit too much. Tests (midterm/final) are open-book and not hard if you have a basic knowledge of what is going on. Do NOT expect to have your own opinion, because she will force you to see things her way. Too picky about the final project...it's a non-major class but she expects a lot.

Opinionated but nice. Usually one pop quiz, mid-term and final plus a paper and final project. Open notes and open book. Very picky about final project! Go to class, take notes. Read the play and you'll be ok. DO NOT USE YOUR CELL PHONE DURING CLASS! watch movies and relax! Its an ok class, probably wouldn't take it again. extra credit given

This teacher is so easy. She offers A LOT of extra credit so definately take advantage of that. Her tests are open book but she never tells you how long so you have to study before that. Usually she only gives you 15 minutes of open book. Her lectures are boring but easy to make it through. Take her for this class!

Dr. Lehman is an abstract minded bohemian, and it shows in her lecture. She is very knowledable and passionate about her area of expertise, but her lecture isn't always clear. However, she is an interesting person full of random trivia and will gladly talk to you about anything you want to know about theatre.

Not the greatest teacher, She has many insignificant facts she talks about...she acts like the facts are common knowledge but she is full of it. She tries to make herself look brilliant. One of the most stimulating teachers I've had the pleasure of taking a class from in my three years at Westchester. Ms. Lehman presented the many fascinating aspects found within the world of theater. Easiest class I've ever taken. She's a little quirky, but so are all the other theatre teachers. the class is really easy...never read a thing past the 1st chapter and aced the exams...oh yeah....OPEN BOOK EXAMS!!! Hello??? it doesn't get any easier....Sometimes the class can be a little boring, but overall it was interesting. TAKE THIS FOR EASY A.
