Susan Logie. Interesting! I was in her class about 15 years ago. I was a new immigrant and had to take a course called ESL 190, even though I had the required TOEFL score. Marks are arbitrary. She'll just randomly assign you a grade for something. If you cater your writing to her your arbitrary mark will increase. If you see her outside of class she will appreciate your effort and your mark will probably increase. You must be able to speak and write English or she will incessantly suggest that you drop the course.

If you know the format, then your gona score perfecton her report. The best thing is to visit her and if you get her feedback on that report, its like her marking her own final report and you end up with a VERY good grade. I was scared at the begining but evantually, it boost my GPA up. im glad I had her as my ALSS-1000 instructor.

I did 5X the work in this class than any other class, adn just barely passed. She doesn't have a nice bod contrary to previous statements. She is a tough marker and really does belive a good mark is around a D or C.

Definitely a good teacher. She expects really high standards and the only way ur going to make upto her expectations is if you've got an answer to every question she can ask in class. Tip: Smile a lot & greet her before class begins- it helps :)
