Dr. Luek is the reason I became a psych major. She is incredibly smart and you will learn SO much from her! That being said, if you are not a psych major you may want to take someone else. But I highly recommend that every psych major take her at least once! I miss her!!!

Dr. Leuk is the best professor at MU!!!! If you want to learn about the brain, take Dr. Luek. She was not only an amazing teacher, but she understands life circumstances and care about her students' well being. You have to work hard in her class, but it is all memorization. She gets a grade of 100% A+ in my book!

love love love luek. if you arent a psych major/minor, you may want to consider a different professor as she covers ALOT of info. but you learn a lot. tests are pretty hard and require a lot of studying because there are only 3 tests and an attendance grade. she's great though, one of my favorites!

She is a great professor and you definitely learn a lot from her class. She offers a lot of extra credit opportunities and the exams aren't that hard if you go to class and study. She does use some old equipment, but it's worth it to take the class! Definitely highly recommend her!!

Dr. Luek is a very nice person. That being said, she probably should have stopped teaching about ten years ago. Antiquated materials, outdated information, and a general sort of befuddled demeanor do not make for an incredible learning experience.

I found her lectures boring. She unintentionally repeats herself about things not very relevant to the class throughout the semester. Her tests are mostly taken from her lectures. Remember who did what she puts alot of names on her tests, and you should be fine.

She is an amazingly nice lady, but her test are a killer. She likes to put names and things like that on the exam, so if you struggle with that kinda thing study...but besides that she is very nice and class is extremely interesting. I would def. take another class with her if I have the chance....

Dr. Luek is SUCH a great professor! She is very clear on her instructions and lectures..she helps you if you need it..her tests are pretty hard but are mostly from the notes..she does offer extra credit..she makes ALL of the course material learned practical and relevant..you have to work for the grade, but it's worth it! take her class!

A wonderful woman & professor. Extremely intelligent. she is funny & has some great stories. she's particularly interested in physiological psychology. i recommend reading the textbook, the material is very interesting anyway. i had 3 tests in her class, and they were all fair. but study your notes thoroughly and read the text!

I didn't like her at all. She's INCREDIBLY boring and she always was mean to me. The matching on her tests was annoying because the clues don't make sense. On the bright side, she offers a TON of extra credit, so get lots of that and study a lot.
