Comment:

I was super disappointed with the amount of cattiness and lack of professionalism from Susan. You think teachers will rise above, but Susan isn't above disparaging her students and the system. It's an easy pass, so just take the class and don't engage and you can coast on through without learning a thing.

Susan Salas is awesome! I had her for my freshmen seminar teacher and the class dealt with the appreciation of film. We watched movies every class and our homework was to complete sheets about the movie. The difficult questions she even went over with us in class. Salas is very helpful and wants to see her student succeed. One of the best!

Professor Salas is very uptight and VERY bi-polar. Her smile is more like a showing of teeth than a genuine expression of happiness. She also has zero credentials in the industry. Not the insider that she wants you to believe she is. Total fraud.

Salas will let on that she is an expert. Let's be honest, she was a commercial actor; she really doesn't know what she's talking about. She calls claims to have "produced films" when in reality she produced a couple short films for film students. She is very condescending and demeaning. Take what she teaches with a grain of salt. She is full of it.

Amazing professor... she really knows her stuff. She may seem "stressed out" duting class, but her stress is what drives the students to perform in real world conditions. She teaches class with an emphasis on what the realworld in the tv industry is really like. If your telecomm major, she will lead you to success (if you do your part)

I loved having Salas all through Telecom, she was very good at teaching theory but then also keeping you in touch with the reality of the entertainment business. She was also always helpful and if you put in the effort so did she. Excellent teacher!
