Professor Sullivan is one of the most kind, brilliant professors I have had at Suffolk. Yeah, she assigns a lot of readings and essays, but if you go to her for feedback on the essays before the peer reviews, she will definitely help you out! I would take her classes again. Helps you become a better writer too! 10/10 would recommend!

You cant just relax and sit back in this class, its quite a hard class for 101, not quite hard just a lot of unnecessary work for no reason, didnt learn much either. Very hard grader and not understanding at all especially for being a 101 professor. Just avoid and take another prof.

I love Susan! I had her for two semesters and do not regret it at all. Make sure you show up to class, do the readings, and have her look over your essays before turning them in. Her lectures are enjoyable and the readings are interesting. Sad I won't be taking her class next year!

I took Professor Sullivan last semester and I am so glad I took her again this semester. Her class is clearly structured with a syllabus that outlines homework and papers. She is a great person to talk to and really cares about her students. Her office hours are great especially because she's so willing to help. Definitely take her for this class!

Professor Sullivan is adorable. I really enjoyed her class. It's mainly discussion based, so participate! Her class is very clear: readings for HW, 10 journal entries, 3 papers, midterm, and a final; there is also the occasional EC/quiz. Do the work and you will do well. She is always willing to help, going to office hours are so beneficial!

great writing professor. people that are complaining are the ones who probably don't show up to class and do the work. if you show up to class and do the work (which is a super reasonabledoable amount) you'll do perfectly fine. she gives a lot of extra credit and lets you revise papers. highly recommend her class she is very interestingpassionate

she's a very nice person and she talks a lot in class. hard grader, but you can revise your papers. Read a lot for homework and write about 10 journals. she loves to share her own stories and mostly discusses the reading for homework in class. she is available outside of class early in the morning (before class). I love Professor Sullivan!! she is a wonderful person and her classes are good. Her classes are also not boring at all. She sends a lot of readings but they aren't too bad. After taking two semesters in a row, it is safe to say she is a wonderful professor. She can get really snap easily at points but teaches extremely well. Gives you a lot of reading every now and then but always changes her mind. She gives you a lot of extra credit. No excuse to get below a C in that class
