I took this class online, she recorded her lectures one year so you can learn from her actually teaching the material instead of just having to teach yourself like in a lot of online classes. If you havent taken an online class before, Professor Todd gives an excellent online course.

Comment:

Her class is definitely in my top 5. It is a lot of material & a lot of work, but the topic is fascinating. You are given everything you need to be successful, but if you don't put in the time & effort you will struggle. She responds to all posts & provides great feedback. I honestly learned a lot. In my opinion - great course, great instructor!

This professor is extremely unorganized. Contradicts herself. Her tests are long and hard. For each unit theres almost 25-30 modules you have to watch in order to get a decent grade on the tests. You have to post 3 discussions and 2 responses every week and she grades those extremely hard even when it is opinion based. Would not take again.

Love her, but her work load is hard. I took her biopsych online and you have tons of modules. If your not able to sit for up to 6 hours a week or have ADD dont take this class. Her tests are hard. but liked her. She is very helpful.

Dr. Todd is such an asset to BSU! She is accessible, flexible and definitely engaged with her students. Her classes are tough, but if you study you will do well. She is very student oriented and responds very quickly to student requests. I would definite take her again! If you want to learn, you will!

If you're looking for an easy A with little effort, I wouldn't suggest Dr. Todd. I'm not a PSYC major and I did fine, but she has a very in-depth online class with virtual lectures, readings, and very long tests. I took this over the summer and consumed a lot of time compared to other online classes I've taken.

Took this class online. Weekly forums with a minimum of 3 posts. If you keep up with this 10 pts of extra credit . Modules are pretty short but there are quite a few so make sure to pace yourself. Exams are multiple choice and easy as long as you listen to the modules. Was an interesting class & I feel that I have learned a lot from it.

She records her lectures in 2-4 min modules for the online class. Take notes on these and use the book and you're golden. There are anywhere from 45-60 modules in each unit. 6 exams, 6 units. Forum posts- 3 per week - one main & two replies. Easy 10 points every week. Keep up and don't wait until last minute for mods.

I was so nervous about biopsychology, but it was great with Professor Todd. Even though the material is semi-difficult, if you put in the effort, you'll get an A. There is a decent amount of work- 3 forums a week, but those are easy A's, and like 4-5 exams. If you put in the effort, you cannot fail this class. She is great! I love her!

Doctor Todd is amazing. Not all teachers really have that thrive for teaching and she does. She is funny, easy going and really engages you in the class. There are 6 tests including the final-which you don't have to take if you have an A and online homework quizzes, that's how your graded. its not super easy but its manageable and she is great!!!!!

She is super great. Extremely passionate about her work and helping students understand and gain interest in it as well. I would definitely take her again. There are only 6 tests and online quizzes, definitely not hard if you pay attention. She also gives extra credit for attending PAL sessions

Dr. Todd is good at what she teaches - she knows it all very well, and is enthusiastic about teaching. If it wasn't for the PAL sessions, I'm not sure how I would have done in the class. She gives you extra credit on tests for going, and they really do help in more ways than one Overall good professor

She loves what she does and love the subject matter. Class involves a lot of focus but it is very interesting and tests are easy if you study the study questions she provides. Allowed to use notes for the last 10 minutes of exams. Gives extra points for attending PAL sessions.

Dr. Todd is an amazing professor. She keeps it interesting. I loved going to her class. Notes are all on powerpoint and diagrams so if you copy everything and get the handouts you will be fine. Also posts modules on moodle. Her tests were very easy if you studied and she was always willing to help if anyone was struggling. Definately take her class

Got much more out of this class than expected! Opens your eyes to new perspectives (love when that happens). Well organized - read, post (reflections of text/modules) and other student's responses, listen to pre recorded slides (TAKE NOTES!!!) - most to almost all testing info is in the lecture modules. Do the work...easy A. Simple as that!

Comment:

Taking Dr. Todd's online class now. It's way harder than I expected. 4 exams and 1 cumulative final. This course is NOT self-paced, every exam is open only set dates. Must also respond in the discussion board 5 times per week to get full credit. Also the tests aren't that difficult if you look up the answers online- don't bother buying the books.
