I am giving Kohalmi a good rating to balance out the bad ones. These ratings are an exaggeration of how "terrible of a lecturer" she was. It would be beneficial to record her lectures since realistically you're not going to get everything the first time. She was available to clarify anything in the lecture. The tutorials were also quite helpful.

Loved this class! Lectures were fun and informative. She was always there to help after class too if you had questions. Tests were fair and made you think about what you learned. If you're into genetics you will love this course and this prof.

Sweet lady, but terrible at lecturing. Exams had very little to do with what was taught and each question was about a page long with run-on sentences that were very unclear, like her lecturing. Final was one of the hardest I have ever written and ended up kicking a bunch of people out of the Med Sci program. Recommend reading textbook.

I despise everything about this course. The exams were brutal and unrepresentative of the practice questions the profs gave. She put MORE THAN HALF A PAGE OF READING for every single question so it was truly ridiculous. Rather than testing us on our knowledge about the course, it was more of a "who can read half a page just to solve 1 question".

A lot of her questions are more problem solving and critical thinking than memorization. The anount you study really doesn't reflect your mark. It's more about how well you are able to work through difficult problems during the exams. I think people are being a bit harsh here, she seems sweet and would happily lend support during office hours.

Honestly she's really cute and really tried hard and shows passion but like While writing the midterm for this course I had to double check whether or not I was in the right room as the questions were not at all representative of the material we learned. Also I'm not one to judge grammar but they should really review questions before the exam
