Comment:

Pop quizzes every week, but i feel like this helped me learn the material at a pace instead of cramming before the test. As long as you study this class will be cake. This professor is funny and i loved attending her lectures. She gives extra credit on every quiz and exam. I recommend making flashcards on quizlet to study!

Comment:

A savage. She doesn't filter anything she says and can be funny at times, or embarrassing. She's older and grades very tough. My anatomy lecture was completely self taught offline PowerPoints and lab quizzes were given every week. Homework was also very heavy in this course.

Pretty easy class as long as you show up and take good notes. Very hard to reach outside of class. Lectures are pretty boring. The tests are slightly difficult, a lot of the things that she mentions in class will be on there but wont be on the power point. She gives a lot of small easy assignments and also extra credit.

I took her for a Biology of Sex class, which can go bad very easily but I really enjoyed her and the class. She is so funny and will joke throughout the entire lecture almost everyday. The tests aren't bad as long as you go to class and actually pay attention and study a little. There aren't many assignments, my class had 7 total, very easy work.

I had Dr. Byrd for Neuroanatomy and Advanced Human Anatomy. She's a great teacher, however, this is a class where you have to study for hours to memorize the material. These two classes are most definitely the ones that I've had to work the hardest to keep an A but they are very interesting.

Best teacher ever. This class is hard, but explains the material well and presents it in an organized way. She is funny, so the class is never boring. The tests are hard, but no trick questions, so study hard. I have never said this, but you really don't need the book. She lectures & tests directly from her lab book. No extra credit this term.

Dr. Byrd is great, I loved having her this semester. She expects you to know your material, I took Anatomy with her and you had to memorize everything but she gave a lot of extra credit. Didn't use the book much, she goes solely on her own lecture notes so save yourself the $$!

Dr. Byrd was helpful and material was straight forward and explained well. I recommend the lecture online and lab on campus. If you work, doing the lecture online is much easier and you didn't have to read from the book, but use her power points.

Dr. Byrd is a great instructor. The class covers a lot of information but she does a good job of organizing it and explaining concepts clearly. You do need to study to do well, but if you know all the info going into the tests, the exams are an easy A. Very straight forward, no confusing questions. One of the best professors I have had!

I LOVED HER CLASS!! You do have to study, but YOU DO NOT NEED A TEXT BOOK, but you DO need the lab book!! If you go to class you will be fine, she DOES NOT take attendance. She gives 5 pts extra credit a few days before each test. LOVE HER!!

Student must attend class and spend a lot of time studying just because there is a lot of material but it is not too difficult because all tests are straight forward. I love her
