I had Suzanne Prior for my intro stats, and i highly recommend taking the course with her. The subject matter might prove difficult to som, but Prior explains things in very clear terms. There's also no text, which is good on the pocketbook. Show up to class and do the assignments and stats will be slightly less painful.

Easy assignment that was fun. Tests are somewhat hard but you'll get through them if you study notes and chapter summaries. One of the most interesting classes I've ever taken- and I'm a history major! Highly recommend.

Comment:
Does not clarify material needed for the exam. This is a broad subject and should be narrowed down as best possible. This course should be treated differently due to the nature of the advanced curriculum required for success. The percentage of students that repeat in this particular course with this professor is significant. "See student affairs."

Would highly recommend another professor for this subject matter. This professor does not speak in laymen's terms. Would suggest that if you have to take this professor that you take a paid private course before taking this professor.

Very kind prof and you can tell she loves what she teaches. Doesn't post slides online and occasionally takes attendance. Textbook is mandatory as a lot of her test material comes fro the textbook. Term paper in this course isn't the greatest and to get started on it involves group work.

Caution. Unclear Syllabus, lectures, power points. Because of the nature of this course, it takes a unique professor with a special type of expertise to teach this particular subject matter.

Suzanne Prior is a great prof! She is open and approachable and makes stats easy. Attending each and every class is extremely important, because if you skip any classes, you will fall back and it will be extremely hard to catch up. She is super nice and I highly recommend taking a class with her!

I was intimidated to take stats but she made it so easy. If you go to class and take notes it is not difficult at all. She gives lots of examples and summary sheets at the end of each section. Really great at teaching this. There are 3 tests and an exam but if you do the review sheets they are easy.

I was intimidated by taking a seminar course, however Dr. Prior conducted her seminar on the psychology of women in the best way possible. She is very approachable, and the classroom had a very tight-knit and comfortable feel to it. A lot of reading, 2 tests and one group project, however she lets you bring an outline to the tests! Would reccomend

Suzann made 830 am stats enjoyable. She tries really hard to make sure everything is crystal clear. Gives in class activities and is very helpful when you have questions. I was terrified of this course because I have never been good with math but she really makes it easy as it can possibly be but the course is still a challenge and you have to work
