Great professor! Such a sweet lady. The class isn't too hard if you know your stuff. Get the essay topics for the exam before hand. Expects a lot of her students and definitely expects them to come to class prepared. Always check blackboard for assignments. Exams and assignments weren't too difficult. Too bad she isn't teaching anymore, she's great

The class is not that hard. If you are ready for it, it should not be stressful. She let the class know the first day what she expected. Checking Blackboard and doing the assignments were mandatory. She really respects students' responsibility, so you always had to come prepared. Too bad she is retiring, she was a great teacher.

I really think you either hate her or love her. Shes very energetic seems to love teaching, good teacher if you want to learn spanish. Only down fall is even with an doctor not you can't make up missed work. very annoying. You really need to go to class and ALWAYS ALWAYS CHECK black board. but good spanish teacher. Too bad she s leaving.

A LOT of work. everything on blackboard, in spanish. DOES NOT take late work, tardiness, and being unprepared. she has very keen ears and can hear mistakes in speech- helped me, others were offended. some redundant in-class activites- dialogues, acting scenes, chronological pictures, etc. tests are difficult. more vocab and convo focus than grammar

VERY HARD CLASS!!! Nice lady, but calls on you when she feels you don't know what is going on... you learn a lot from her but I hate being called on unless I raise my hand - very stressful - tons of homework and inclass/out of class group work

I think she is a phenominal teacher. She is a native speaker and very engaging. She is funny and sarcastic but then again, she is spanish. Homework and classwork is mandatory. Its easy...just do it. Take her if you are serious about learning.

professor moore may seem nice at first but is rude and very sarcastic. to those who do not like to be picked on in front of others, i don't recommend her. she will pick on you for any little thing. i am fluent in spanish and she made fun of me for having a puerto rican accent. she is always right and you are always wrong in her classroom, it sucks!

Professor Moore has her heart in the right place, just not her head.She often becomes irritated when someone does not immediately understand her. She looks down upon those that may not grasp foreign language so easily. She also has a subjective grading method. I earned an A on each test and assignment yet received a C in the class.

If you are a freshman and you only took AP in high school, this class may be tough. About 6 kids dropped from my class after the midterm. She is the sweetest teacher and I really enjoyed doing a lot of the work she gave out. It wasn't too tedious and a lot of it is in-class or group work. Her tests are challenging but the class is great. Take her!

If you have never taken spanish before, do not take with her. She speaks completely in spanish. Text book is needed everyday in class. Quizzes everyday. Tests are difficult. Randomly checks homework. Extremely rude and unprofessional. Avoid her if you can. Will keep you the entire class period. Very boring, but you must pay attention.

A great teacher! She's funny and makes the class easy. Class flies by because you are always doing something. She brings music and presentations to help you understand culture and grammar. I learned a lot about the hispanic culture. It was fun to see what is special about each country and learn Spanish. Take her class! She's fun!

she's a great teacher and means well. she picks on everyone in class. it's a lot of grammar and culture, but she goes over it with you in class and is sure it's understood. the culture stuff that she posts on blackboard are basically what's on the test, so if you study exactly what she gives you, the tests are easy. good teacher.
