Comment:

I took her for English 99, the class was a while ago, but it was based on happiness. We watched a lot of cool documentaries and read interesting books. Overall I loved the class and ended up passing. She was very nice and engaged with every student and I am now taking her again but instead for English 105! def recommend her to all my friends.

One of the worst professors I have ever taken, if youre looking for an English professor look elsewhere, she grades all her assignments very late expect to get your essay grades near the very end of the semester after the withdraw deadline, expect more work to put in than an average English 100 class

I took this class semester and was blown away by her teaching style and overall atmosphere of the class. Everyone was very engaged and friendly because of how she had us work together. Have recommend her and would take her again. Another plus is she is very easy on the eyes.

I had Tamara fall 2016 and I have to say she was by far the best teacher i have ever had. She makes you work for your stuff, but its not impossible. She always made are you knew what you had to do before you left class that day and she is always SO approachable. I'm a very shy person, so having this teacher like this, made everything much better.

Ms. Trujillo is a wonderful teacher. If you do your homework, participate in class, show up to her office hours when you are struggling, show up to class, then you will be successful. You will learn so much more. She is willing to help. For those students that received a "sub-standard" grade, like a D-, obviously didn't put in much effort.

I have never gone out of my way to recommend all my friends and peers NOT to take her class. Get ready to read every single night and do endless amounts of preparation for assignments. She is not very understanding and expects more from her students then she does her own capabilities to genuinely care for her students. I will never take her again.

Tamara seemed amazing at the beginning and then proved to be a dictator the remainder of the class. She made me feel insecure to ask questions. She also has a temper and will likely lash out if you disagree with her on something. She teaches mindfulness however her attitude overall is the complete opposite. My worst experience with a professor.

Tamara was a disappointing professor, she has strong opinions and will likely push them on you throughout the semester. Her grading is harsh and I would not recommend you take her if you are not ready to be 100% committed to this class. She gives lots and lots of assignments and grades very harsh. I will not take her class again.

SHE. IS. THE. BEST. Inspiring, interesting, and passionate about helping her students. I took creative writing with her and it was one of the best classes I've ever had. Always so willing to help during office hours and just a really cool human. Take every class she teaches. The work is reasonable, you get what you give. Made me a better writer.

I did not understand the assignments Tamara gives out the class, nor her lectures, they are hard to understand. I sometimes go to Tamara for help, yet I still did not understand what I am trying to understand within her course and assignments. She is there to help you when you ask for it. Her class was not for me.

Tamara is an amazing professor. Her class is an easy A. Her reading questions do take some thinking but it's nothing too harsh. She goes step by step of what she wants from you so you are not shocked. You will never have any test except two 5 point quizzes. She will make sure you are prepared to write your research papers and in class essays.

Tamara teaches her class very well. Just pay attention in class, everything she assigns she makes sure everyone is clear what to do and when it's due. Her office hours are always open to all her students if they still don't understand. I defiantly recommend her classes. Just be prepared to read interesting articles and write essays and projects.

Tamara Trujillo is by far my favorite teacher EVER. She is super hilarious, fun, kind, and such a great instructor. She makes and laughs at her own jokes which is awesome. She gives you a lot of readings though out the semester which are really interesting. No tests. Just essays. A lot of class participation. Doesn't grade too harshly.

She's kind enough to help if asked. My pet peeve is her teaching methods. The class is highly based on participation. Whole class workshops are terrible because of this. She grades on verbal rather than written feedback, so most of the time people aren't writing anything on each other's drafts. Good for new writers, bad for those familiar with it.

She loves what she does. That being said, I have learned so much from her. I say this is not an easy A because you do need to work, you cant just sit back and expect a good grade. Every single class taught me something new and all of the workshops benefited me in 1 way or another. I admire her ability to teach and touch her students' lives.

She's just awesome. She is truly passionate about her subject and makes you passionate as well. She's entertaining, but you still have to work. I learned a lot in her class and I enjoyed the process. I HIGHLY recommend taking her if you get the chance.
