Enjoyed Tammy as a prof. She is an engaging lecturer and incorporates guest speakers and external materials to break up the lectures. Found the midterm and paper a bit difficult but if you attend class and keep up you will be fine.

Very nice prof but her exams were tricky and the fact she got a TA to mark her papers was a real downer. Tough grader and overall really wish she marked the paper instead of the TA.

I loved Tammy! Her exams could be somewhat tricky, so KNOW YOUR CONTENT! But if you attend and pay attention in class you will not have a problem! She also gives thorough reviews of EXACTLY what she is going to test you on, even for the final she gives hints as to what the long answer questions were. I highly recommend taking her class

Tammy was by far one of my favourite profs. She flies in her lectures though, so take notes right on the powerpoints that she gives you. There is a 10 page paper but if you ask her questions about it, she's very helpful. Multiple choice tests but she often boosts marks, she boosted our first midterm by 10%. She's very understanding.

Tammy is such a nice, caring prof! She really tries her best to explain the course content and assignments in an easy, understandable way. However, I found her exams hard because they had long questions that were tricky. Exam questions were based on lecture notes and her elaborations, so attendance is MANDATORY. Also, textbook is not necessary!

Tammy is the best prof I have had so far. Her tests were fair, we had a thorough review before and afterhand. I did not like her paper, however... it was very unclear. Still would give a 9/10!

Loved this class. Material was very interesting, the class was set up well and easy to follow, and there were many awesome guest speakers. The class paper was difficult, as much as she attempted to explain, I didn't feel the expectations were clear. Tests weren't bad and she does thorough reviews beforehand.

Tammy is one of the nicest profs I've ever had in my university career. She is down-to-earth and is willing to go the extra mile just to help her students succeed. Her tests were fair, but they were sometimes tricky. My tip to succeed in her class is to attend ALL lectures because test material comes from the slides AND her explanations in class.

Tammy is a caring teacher and really knows her stuff. She posts her lecture slids, but expands on them in class so I would attend. However, I would not take a class with her again as I found her tests difficult, I did not understand the requirments for either paper, and do not find her a fair maker.

I have had Tammy before, in the previous school year, and will continue to try and have her as a professor. She is kind, considerate, and easy to talk to. The fact that she can learn over one-hundred names each term is incredible!

Long wordy multiple choices, can be tricky. If your slow on exams, you might find yourself only getting 90% of the questions done in the time allotted so dont waist time. free +5% SPSS extra credit so u can technicially get a 105% in this class. She knows her stuff and u can tell. Also shes Hot

One of my favourite classes and profs at the U of S. The class was super interesting and lectures were very clear. She grades fairly and offers lots of instruction. However, to do well you have to go to class because she only posts partial slides. Plus, she looks like Tina Fey.

Tammy is one of the best professors I've had in university. She elaborates on slides that are posted online, so attendance is mandatory. She gives lots of clues as to what is on the midterms, although midterms are lengthy and can be tricky. If you go to class and take good notes, you'll easily pass this class! Textbook not required, but helpful.

Tammy is the most down to earth caring prof I have ever had. Highly recommend her & this class. Your success in this class will depend on what you put into it. If you go to class, reading the text is not necessary & you are guaranteed to succeed (her test Q's come straight from the power point lectures which she posts, but elaborates on in class).

This is not an easy class. By far one of the hardest (non-stats related) psychology classes I have taken. She is accommodating and gives good lectures but the exams are extremely hard and she is a tough marker. The term paper is very long, so avoid if you don't like writing 15 page papers. Material is very interesting which is a bonus.

A nice breath of fresh air compared to other psychology classes. Not so much about theories as it is about justice system. Makes it way. More interesting and easier to understand. Offers alternatives to her essay, straight forward exams and final. Textbook not necessarily a must, but doesn't hurt. Would definitely take another class from her!

I really liked Tammy and she knew her stuff but her exams and the paper were so hard. I took two classes from her and barely passed both times. I am not a super try hard student, so maybe others found it easier - but I did not at all!!! If you want to try an average amount do not take her class. Not easy.
