This professor literally changed my life,she is amazing. It is a hard course and frustrating at first but if you go see her she shows you exactly how to study for her exams. If you don't pay attn in class her notes may be confusing but just solidify the points by skimming the textbook. Once you understand the idea her notes are great to study with

Comment:

Hard class!! Makes Anatomy look easy. Labs are easier to know than anatomy. She moves at a quick pace. But if you study you should do well but it is really time consuming. Less notes than McLeese and simpler too. Make sure you know action potential as it is a recurrent theme throughout the course. Heart and reproductive glands are on the midterm!!!

Highly-recommended! Goes at an easy-to-follow pace, & puts all notes on overhead. Everything you will need to know for the exam is in her notes, so you use the textbook for purely diagrams. Knows her material in-depth. I'd take her again in other bio courses for sure.

LOVED THIS PROF!! everyhing was clear, explained well, tests were fair, material was WELL organized. Plus she has a GREAT personality and a love for what she does. comes across as serious, but when she makes a joke, its HILARIOUS! I had 2 classes with her and I will always miss them! Fantastic proff. Definatly knows hers stuff and gives you the key points you need to know in lecture. If you study exactly what she says there is no excuse for doing bad in the course. Easy to follow in class as she speaks very slowly. Really a great proff.

she is really nice. she is my favorite prof at the u of m. you have to pay attention and go to the lectures in order to do well in the course. she does have an accent, but its easy to get used to, personally i think it is adorable! she comes off quite stern, but she cracks jokes here and there and she always willing to answer any questions.

good at answering questions, really knows her stuff. She can make you feel stupid; she embarrassed me in front of the whole class when I had trouble understanding her accent and the words chromatin and chromatid. I was mad, but than she came up to me and asked me very nicely if I needed help in the lab. Monotone voice. could be more approachable.

Very hard course, requires lots of studying but she makes it easier because all you need to know is what she says in class. It is easy to get good notes from her as she repeats everything that is important to write down. Important to attend every class or at least get notes from someone if you miss a day.

A scary not friendly prof but definitely makes the course easier to understand. You must right down what she says b/c her board notes are basically topic titles. I understood her accent b/c I sat at the front. The course itself requires a thorough understanding of the material not just memorization because the exam is not straightforward at all.
