He's pretty passionate about the class, but I was never sure what to study. He said "Use the powerpoint but there will be stuff from the book as well" so it was like we learned what he wanted us to know in class, and had to study the book seperately. He also wouldn't shut up about how he hated Bush

Dr. Beal is a terrific teacher. His lectures are really great, but he talks about so much that I never knew what exactly to study (in his Brazil History Class). Still, he is a great teacher- you just have to do a bit of studying.
