You cant get away without buying the textbook. You have to read it, read it again, and then probably read again after that. Its impossible to get perfect on his multiple choice even if you study like crazy Dr. Vokes is hands down the most amazing prof this university has ever seen. He is so nice and caring. He makes his lectures enjoyable. The best

The BEST The only professor who can make a 3hr lecture fly. I took psych as an elective and because of him i am now minoring in it. Just make sure you keep up with your readings and go to class (even though it was so easy to go to class and just listen) What he teaches in lecture is for every day life and is very interesting, useful information.

Taking his Community Psych class in my 4th year was the first time in my university career that I learned anything that will help me in the real world. He cares about his students and wants to see you succeed. The group project is really interesting and leaves you feeling like you made a difference in the Windsor community. Thank you Dr. Vokes!

Dr Vokes is by far the most exceptional prof I have ever had the pleasure of listening to! Going to class was honestly a treat. In 116 he teaches theory that he and his associates have developed, so he's really passionate about the material! He's an applied social psychologist who teaches theory that you can apply to your life to make it better :)

My favourite prof so far. He gives the best lectures that include information you can relate to and actually use in life. I wish more profs were like him. Only complaint: there is a lot of reading, but it's at least interesting. Go to the lectures and do the readings and you'll do well. He really puts his heart into the class, you will enjoy it!

Hands down my favourite professor thus far. Just took psych as a random elective and boy did I get lucky. His passion really shows in the effort he puts in explaining things. Very interactive lectures that will actually serve you in the real world. His exams are fair and as long as you show up to class and do the readings, you'll be fine!

IMO, he is the most inspiring and interesting professor I've ever ever met. His lectures don't just consist of dry, factual information copied from a textbook. Instead he takes his theory and findings from his organizational practice and brings it to the classroom to give a realistic approach to learning psychology. And he's very easy on the eyes!

Awesome prof! He really sparks everyone's interest in the class. Really cool guy and a great person to listen to. His examples are very relatable and tells some good stories to help understand the material. Lectures are a bit different than whats in the text so its a bit more work to study but its worth it.Was a genuine person. Take his class!

Very easy to understand. The only thing I didn't like is you have to read the Textbook my yourself and it has nothing to do with the lecture, but its worth 50% of the midterm/exam. As long as you don't mind reading hes a good prof.
