He spends the class time rambling about personal stories. He actually fails to teach anything covered on exams. He is completely unavailable outside of class and if you ask him a question he will be sure to avoid it and go off on a tangent. I might as well have taken the course without attending class because I learned everything from the book.

TERRIBLE professor. Spends class going off on pointless tangents instead of actually teaching. When he does teach, he goes too fast for anyone who isnt already an expert in Physics to understand. Lots of homework almost every night; his tests are extremely difficult and he offers no review at all. Avoid at all costs.

Lectures are a little boring and not a lot of meat to them due to many tangents. Weekly journals get repetitive. Tests are fairly easy if you glance over the chapters and are curved. Overall seems like a nice guy, but is a little hard to talk to and get to know. I thought it was kind of an easy class and the labs are fun!

Physics is difficult any way you look at it. Now I know why you take high level math courses. This is math in motion. He made it very concrete, especially for me, who had life experiences from the college of hard-knocks, but no high level math background. He was very encouraging to me when I struggled, and empathetic when my daughter got sick.

Ammmmmazing. Kite is one of my favorite teachers at Pepperdine. His field trips are great and really made science come to life for this advertising/english student. I llooove Prof. Kite! He really cares.

Awful teacher. I went for help and got nothing. He told me to work with other students and I would learn better. Okay that's nice but still i pay you to help teach me. What a waste of money. I don't see how others say he is helpful. He talked about crap and said to go work with groups. Hello, I came to you for help and you tell me this!

Don't get distracted by the gold tooth or the random stories, from wildebeest to earthquakes. He loves science, and like any good science prof, is a little weird. Bring him rocks from random places, he'll love you. His social skills can seem somewhat lacking.
