Professor Hilliard is passionate about accounting and helping her students succeed. She goes out of her way to prepare you and to give you every piece of information you need to be successful in the course. I truly wish I could have had her as an instructor for every course at Walsh!

Theresa Hilliard is an outstanding professor. She takes great care in preparing her lectures so every student understands the concepts. She provides numerous materials for practicing concepts. She is always helpful and accessible - 24/7. She should teach other professors how to teach!

Comment:

Excellent teacher, probably the best at Walsh. Gives you great preparation for tests, so make sure to follow her preparation materials. It saves time on the tests/quizes. Regardless, it is a difficult class.

Great professor who cares about the students. She knows the material well and is able to teach it to students. She offers extra help, responds quickly to questions and turns around grades quickly. If she is teaching a course you need take her. Warning: No Class at Walsh is easy so expect to put in the work.

The class is hard because that is how Walsh accounting classes are. Prof. Hilliard is a great teacher and explains topics in great detail. She is very compassionate about her students futures and wants everyone to succeed in class and their professional careers. I would recommend taking her, just know that you have to put in the work to succeed.

This class was the WORST class in my whole academic career! She does not respond to emails in a timely manner, and neither does the TA. Even if you complete the course pack, textbook problems and review the lectures it still does not prepare you properly for the exams. The only way I completed this class was due to a tutor! Beware!!

I took her in my first semester, she expects a lot, but she is a wonderful teacher. She is very helpful and knows her material. Accounting in general is extremely difficult at Walsh College, they expect a lot in a short period. Do all your homework in advanced, ask questions..and study. You are your best teacher.

I too have heard good and bad things. Honestly I think she is an excellent teacher, the tests are standardized and the material is a lot to go through and tough. We do seem to rush a bit only because there is so much to go through and there are many questions asked in class. I like the way she keeps things focused though

I took this class online. Do not take this class ACC 505 with this professor unless it is mandatory. Three very difficult exams, four quizzes (drop one with the lowest score)very though. The exams contains 40 problems, not questions, I had hard time to finish the exams. The quizzez contain 7 problems/questions again difficult. I felt like I was pre

Incredibly unrealistic professor and a difficult class. A few bullet points: She does not respond to emails in her online class. Very little assistance in regards to homework or questions. Exams are beyond the scope of material covered in class and there is little time to complete them. I would strongly recomend taking another professor.
