Pretty good class, but it got very boring at times. McMahon is kinda monotone so it was easy to fall asleep. But you can tell he genuinely enjoyed teaching and cared about the students. He seemed like a nice guy. Taught off the course notes which has pros and cons. Wish he would post more online though.

Now the Dean of Science, Terry McMahon is arguably the most accomplished researcher in the chemistry department at University of Waterloo. He is extremely helpful and genuine despite his long list of accomplishments. An all around amazing person.

goes over all the easy stuff in class and leaves you to cry over the hard stuff. very monotone and boring. should have gone over harder stuff, and not taught stuff we didn't need to know. and once i saw him jogging in spandex... EWW!!!!

Yo, what the hell?? This guy really knows what he's talking about! I had Bissanette before and he acts like he's got an attitude! McMahon is the bomb, he knows what he's taling about and he'll explain anything for you. Great prof!

This man made everything seem so easy in the lecture, but the exam was killer. He shows you the easy examples, but never the hard ones. Definitely take Bissonnette's class - he sounds much better.
