Best professor ever. Got me so interested that neuropsych is now my concentration. Only negative is that his class is based on 4 exams BUT he gives some random extra credit. He is super knowledgeable and cool as heck. 10/10 dude.

Bazzett is probably one of my favorite professors at Geneseo! His lectures are hilarious and help make a tough subject much easier to learn. He's always willing to help if you need it and loves answering questions. His tests can be tricky, but if you take notes on examples he gives in lecture, they're a lot easier.

Biopsychology is a hard class and it takes effort to do well. Dr. Bazzett is always prepared and has great powerpoints. His lectures are interesting and he attempts to find ways to give real life examples about the things we learn. His tests are very hard but he is always willing to help you review if you ask for the help

The class consisted of 3 exams and 1 paper (the paper had multiple graded sections). Must hand in multiple drafts on the paper to do well. The textbook was not needed if you go to class.

I really disliked Bazzett. He's arrogant and talks to the class like they're stupid. He includes things on his tests that are not relevant to the course, he only adds them because he wrote the book and he thinks they're interesting. Probably one of the worst professors I've had.

Bazzett is GREAT! Submit multiple drafts of papers and he'll tell you exactly what is wrong and how to fix it. This class isn't easy with him but you really do learn how to write well and it's very informative. Tests are very specific and pretty tricky. He's a very intelligent and kind man, I'll definitely be taking another class with him

I love Bazzett - he's probably one of my favorite professors. That being said, his class is great, but you have to work for it. Hand in multiple drafts of each section to get his feedback. The research part of the class isn't bad, but the tests are pretty touch if you don't pay attention and read. But overall he's amazing and I would recommend him.

Not as good as his 335 class but still pretty darn good. Very interesting material. Bazzett is a great lecturer. Tests sometime have odd questions, but overall quite fair.

Comment:
His lectures were boring and dry. He spends the majority of his time talking about him self and having you edit his own paper in class. He is super picky about the final paper and without handing in multiple drafts you will not pass. When emailed he has stated that he doesn't need to know your name and you are only a project. Overall just a jerk.

He's amazing - easily my favorite Psych professor. Textbook really isn't needed except for extra clarification. Go to class! Some test questions are on specifics discussed in class, but all questions are fair and straight forward. Super helpful with the paper and the scientific writing style in general.

Great professor and great class. Incredibly knowledgeable and keeps class interesting. 4 tests, an 8 page lit review, and 5 brief assignments make up your grade. Tests are largely based on lecture material. Be sure to turn in drafts of your lit review if you are not a stellar scientific writer.

Best psych professor ever. I learned so much from him and got A's in both his bio and sensation and perception classes. I studied but if you pay attention in class its not hard. He is interesting and I have used information from his classes in so many things since then.

Dr. Bazzett is a great professor to take research methods with. He lets you hand in drafts for editing so it is inexplicable to not get As on the papers. Exams are also straightforward and come from his lectures. Highly recommend Dr. Bazzett.

The great thing about Bazzett is he lets you hand in as many drafts as possible for each section of the paper. You should have no excuse to get a 100 on the entire paper unless you're lazy...3 tests...no final. Tests can be kind of tricky. Limited studying gave me B's on exams. He seems intimidating at first, but he's helpful in office hours.

I literally HATE writing and I did really well in this class. If you want a good grade HAND IN PAPERS EARLY, it is an easy way to a perfect score. Tests are kind of challenging but if you go to class you are golden(it is okay to miss a few)! He is great during office hours and really tries to help you understand (I only went once)

Make sure to hand in papers as early as possible! Get as many drafts in as you can! Great way to get a perfect score. Study powerpoints in chronological order bc that's how it is on the test. Go to class; prof gives easy questions about certain lectures. Make sure to go to the classes before the test. Awesome professor. Highly recommend!

Challenging class but not impossible to do well in. Make sure you hand your paper in early for critiquing because he's ridiculously picky. Although attendance is not mandatory, he likes when people go to class and puts a lot of in class discussion in the test that you wouldn't have gotten from just the lecture slides.
