Took for mandatory technology class and he didn't even know how to use most of the technology. Instead of teaching us how to use it, he would tell us "just Google it." I paid money for a professor to tell me to use Google. Verbally abusive and treats students like idiots, constant yelling, highly unpleasant, ridiculous amount of work. Avoid him.

Took him for historical methods and it was very displeasing. He screams like a mad men throughout class and treats you like a dumb person. He will call the whole class out on things supposed "millennials" do. Would not recommend.

He taught the course on Civil War but we discussed nothing. He assigned weekly readings, and we had to uploaded DETAILED notes to OneNote. He taught the course as technology intensive and focused 96% of his time on teaching us how to look up sources on WorldCat rather than teaching his students about the Civil War... avoid taking him.

Do not, I repeat, DO NOT, take his online class. The most work I've done, or tried to do, I have done in college so far. Ridiculous term paper and an insane amount of reading and note-taking. Just keeps piling on work from week to week. Would have 4 chapters of notes to take on top of pdfs for research to read in 1 week. Save the aggravation.

eh ,Pretty boring online class. He gives a ton of pdfs to take notes on. His online lectures are extremely boring. Lots of work. Pretty boring topic as well, but I needed the credits. Expect a lot of homework and note taking and participate in his discussion boards, especially if you're in a summer course.

Finnegan is a really really bad professor, crazy hard grader, insane amount of work, and he is verbally abusive to the class. This is a man that should never be allowed to teach students of any age! Stay away from him at all cost.

He makes this class so much harder than it has to be. weekly papers which he counts as exams. insane amount of work for a history requirement class. but he was pretty understanding towards the end and gave us extra credit opportunities to try and boost our grades. overall nice guy

The guy drones on and on, i felt like i would fall asleep more than once. He lets you use a laptop, but gives an insane amount of work that doesn't make a lot of sense. i had no choice but to take him unfortunately. The entire time in-class is a lecture. Notes are expected to be done by you at home (not too bad, just annoying). overall, boring.

This guy, I thought, was an all round good guy. He does assign a lot of assignments, but if you do them all, it'll help you lots with your final paper. Keep up with the notes, don't fall behind, do the readings and you'll be in the clear. Textbook used every week, and attendance mandatory. A little sucking up goes a long way! DO all extra credit.

History is my favorite, but honestly not a great professor. he really cares about the future of the students, but his tests are long essay, i got an A. You get to use your notes on tests. He makes you submit way too many assignments, and he doesnt talk about the chapters you're reading, you have to work hard to earn a good grade.

He's rude, sarcastic, and mean. He lectures behind on what we read and what he says is not what's in the readings. If you're lazy, don't take him.

I would avoid him. I had him for an honors history class and I usually do really well, but this class was just awful. He made the tests impossible. They had nothing to do with what he said in class and put on the powerpoints. He was confusing and harsh. Not my type of a teacher.

Very easy. Attend every class and you will be more than great. He doesn't give any exams at all. He gives out at least 2 or 3 papers to write. Requires a summary of the notes that you take in class off of powerpoint throughout the semester and that's it. If you get a B in this class you need help. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!! :) :) TAKE HIM

Did not appreciate students who did not agree with his polital views. Did not post the majority of our grades till well after end of semester. I watched students sleep and text all class long. I did not miss a class and all my work was on the schedule he demanded, yet many were very late.Rather than use a textbook he went on laborous diatribes wh

Professor Finnegan is a good professor. I took his history 206 class on line and I really appreciated everything that I learned. His assignments are not easy but he makes you think. Professor Finnegan was very helpful when it came to helping his students. I would take another class with him because I know I would be learning.

For a subject that is history based, it was more like an english class. The two big projects, one a portflio of you life's work and the other a 10-12 paper on subject that you choose. Form the start to finsh, the class is all about him picking apart your paper and you methods of getting sources to back it. In sort, this class can be fun if you are
