Professor Gillin makes every attempt to ensure students are treated fairly. In order to get a good grade you have to do the readings aAND attend his lectures. Midterm and final are fair. He gives you a study guide and takes questions from it for the tests. Somewhat of a difficult marker.

This guy doesnt know much about any other religion except his own and his view is very narrow. He has quizes every week and then try's to convince the whole class that its not about marks at all. Annoying in a really geeky way!

An extremely helpful prof...and i'm speaking from experience. His lectures can sometimes be a drag, but he is very helpful in terms of telling you exactly what to study for exams. When a lot of ppl failed his mid-term, he made every effort to rectify the situation on the final exam. Great guy!

An excellent Professor. A lot of people whined about the midterm being really hard and how he was unfair. Well, they're a bunch of whiny babies who should be lucky that he did anything rectify the situation. I thought he was a great professor who listened to students! Very nice and smart, too. :)

Professor Gillin is very clear and thorough. He includes many personal anecdotes in his lectures, which keeps it interesting. He's very knowledgeable and treats everyone with respect. Despite some miscommunication, he really made attempts to satisfy students' concerns. Overall, a good professor.

2 words: DEAD BORING!! this guy will put you to sleep faster than valium. not to mention that he's the hardest marker i've met. he's also incredibly rude and insensitive. don't bother asking for help, he'll rephrase your question and think that counts as an answer. can't stand him.

I loved Professor Gillin's personality, teaching style, fairness, and enthusiasm, but he really lost points on how HARD the d*mn exam was - study notes or no study notes. Also, ACS 201 was a waste of time. Should have included more REAL LIFE situations
