The previous comment said pretty much all I have to say. If you want to be lazy and never do anything ahead, take this class. If you want to feel like you've accomplished something at the end of the semester, find another English teacher. She's a nice person but I found her very lazy and unprofessional. Be prepared for her to miss many classes.

Nice person. Missed a lot of classes. Has a good understanding of the material, but I found her to be lazy. She did not get our class essays back to us for a month and a half and it was the only thing she marked all semester. Students marked the tests. As a person she gets a 5/5. As a prof, 2/5

She missed far too many classes, and while that may be due to illness, if that is in fact the case, she should have taken the semester off. She seemed like a nice enough woman, granted her being nice seemed forced and not genuine at times. She would miss class to mark essays, which in my opinion is inexcusable for a professor.
